Warranty coverage isnot dependent 
upon theuse ofany particular brandof
replacement partsandyoumay elect to
use non-Genuine ToyotaPartsfor
maintenance andrepairs. However, use
of replacement partsthatarenot
equivalent inquality toGenuine Toyota
Parts mayimpair theeffectiveness ofthe
emission controlsystems. 
If you usereplacement partsthathave 
maintenance orreplacement schedules
different fromthose ofGenuine Toyota
Parts, youmust follow themaintenance
and replacement schedulesforthe parts

repaired freeofcharge because thelocal

to provide warranty serviceforyour

EMERGENCYREPAIRS
Ifyour vehicle isinoperable orunsafe to
drive andthere isno Toyota dealership
reasonably availabletomake repairs, you
may perform therepairs yourself orhave
them performed byanother automotive
service provider. Toyotawillreimburse you
for any ofthe repairs thatarecovered by
warranty. Toreceive reimbursement,
present toan authorized Toyotadealership
your paidrepair invoices andanyparts
that were removed fromthevehicle. You
will bereimbursed forwarranted partsat
the manufacturer’s suggestedretailprice
and warranted laboratageographically
appropriate hourlyratemultiplied by
Toyota’s recommended timeallowance for
the repair. 
If your vehicle requires emergency repair, 
Toyota assumes noliability forsubsequent
failures causedbyimproper repairsorthe
use ofnon-Genuine ToyotaPartsunless
you have thevehicle properly repairedina
timely manner. Toensure thatwarranty
coverage remainsintact,haveyourvehicle
