Suitable for i-Size and ISOFIX child restraint system.
This seat is fitted with a Top tether anchorage point.
Not suitable for child restraint system.
Never use a rear-facing child restraint system on the front passen-
ger seat.
*1Install the child restraint system with the seat pushed all the way back.
*2Tilt the seatback forward, place it back in its 1st fixed position (a), and adjust
it to its 5th fixed position ( b).
*3If the child restraint system cannot be properly installed because the head
restraint is in the way, fix the head restraint at its highest position or remove
it.
*4Tilt the seatback forward and place it back in its 1st fixed position ( a).
*5Child restraint systems should always be used facing forward.

⬛Detail information for CRS installation
ISOFIX child restraint systems are divided into different “fixture”. The child
restraint system can be used in th e seating positions for “fixture” men-
tioned in the table above. For kind of “fixture” relation, confirm the follow-
ing table.
If your child restraint system has no kind of “fixture” (or if you cannot find
information in the table below), please refer to the child restraint system
“vehicle list” for compatibility information or ask the retailer of your child
seat.

⚫When a junior seat (booster seat) is installed, always ensure that the shoul-
der belt is positioned across the cent er of the child’s shoulder. The belt
should be kept away from the child’s neck , but not so that it could fall off the
child’s shoulder.
⚫Follow all installation instructions prov ided by the child restraint system man-
ufacturer.
Child restraint system fixed with an ISOFIX lower anchorage
⬛ISOFIX lower anchorages (ISOFIX child restraint system)
Lower anchorages are provided for
the rear outboard seats. (Marks dis-
playing the location of the anchor-
ages are attached to the seats.)
⬛Installation with ISOFIX lower an chorage (ISOFIX child restraint
system)
Install the child restraint system in accordance to the operation manual
enclosed with the child restraint system.
If the child restraint system on hand is not within the “universal” category
(or the necessary information is not in the table), refer to the “Vehicle List”
provided by the child restraint system maker for various possible installa-
tion positions, or check the compatibility after asking the retailer of the

highest position
Remove the head restraint if it inter-
feres with proper child restraint system
installation. ( ➞P. 152)
c Installing the chil d restraint sys-
tem to the seat
Attach the child restraint system
attachment buckles to the child
restraint system attachment points.
Follow the instructions in the manual
provided with your child restraint sys-
tem.
d After installing the child restraint system, rock it back and forth to
ensure that it is installed securely.
⬛When using an “i-Size MIDI”
Adjust the support leg and IS OFIX connectors as follows:
a Lock the ISOFIX connectors where
number 4 can be seen.
b Lock the support leg where 6 and
half holes can be seen.
