BRIEF DESCRIPTION–RS3200 PLUSFEATURES
FEATURESFUNCTIONS
When an ALARMis TRIGGERED, the system disables the vehicle’s
starter and prevents engine start until the system is reset (D
ISARMED).
During an A
LARM, the system will lock the doors if one is unlocked,
and will continue to do so for the duration of the A
LARM.
The user is notified that an A
LARMoccurred. Upon DISARMINGthe
system after an A
LARMwas TRIGGERED, the vehicle’s tail and marker lights
will be turned on for 2 seconds.
The RS3200 P
LUSflashes the vehicle’s tail and marker or turn signal lights
during R
EMOTEARMINGand REMOTEDISARMING, and during an ALARM.
Also, during an A
LARMthe headlights flash.
If your vehicle is equipped with a buzzer that chirps when the lock
and unlock buttons on the remote keyless entry system’s remote
controls are pressed, the buzzer will also chirp when the system is
R
EMOTEARMEDand DISARMED.
During an A
LARM,t he RS3200 PLUSactivates the vehicle’s horn.
If power to the RS3200 P
LUSis disrupted while it is ARMED, an ALARMis
T
RIGGEREDonce power is restored.
This panel houses the G
LASSBREAKAGESENSORmicrophone and the
flashing LED that indicates the operating status of the security system.
(Some vehicle applications utilize the vehicle’s engine immobilizer system
LED and a separate microphone, instead.)
* TRIGGER MEMORY is not available for Corolla / Matrix.

While the system is ARMED, an ALARMwill be TRIGGEREDwhen any of the following occurs:
�Forcibly opening a door, or the trunk or hatch without a key
Pulling the trunk release lever inside the vehicle will also T

an ALARM.
�Manually unlocking a door
Manually operating an inside lock button will T
RIGGERan ALARM.
Note: Because this action will T
RIGGERan ALARM, it is important
that you do not A
RMthe system while someone is in the
vehicle.
�“Hot wiring” the vehicle
The RS3200 P
LUScan detect the absence of the ignition key if
the ignition circuit is shorted in attempt to start the vehicle.
�Tapping on or breaking the glass
The noise from tapping on, or breaking of glass T

�Power restoration
