2. In front of the vehicle, pull up onthe auxiliary catch l ever and lift the
hood.3. Hold the hood open by inserting the
support rod into the slot.
Before closing the hood, check to see that
you have not forgotten any tools, rags,
etc. and return the support rod to its clip–
this prevents rattles. Then lower the hood
and make sure it locks into place. If nec-
essary, press down gently on the front
edge to lock it.
CAUTION
After inserting the support rod into
the slot, make sure the rod supports
the hood securely from falling down
on to your head or body.
Fuel tank cap
1. To open the fuel filler door, insert the key and turn it counterclockwise.
When refueling, turn off the engine.
CAUTION
Do not smoke, cause sparks or al-
low open flames when refuelling.
The fumes are flammable.
When opening the cap, do not re-
move the cap quickly. In hot weath-
er, fuel under pressure could cause
injury by spraying out of the filler
neck if the cap is suddenly re-
moved.

The digital clock indicates the time with
the ignition key at the ”ACC” or ”ON”
position. To reset the hour, depress the
”H” button. To reset the minutes, de-
press the ”M” button. To adjust the
time to a full hour, depress the ”:00”
button.
For example, if the ”:00” button is de-
pressed when the time is between
1:01—1:29, the time will change to 1:00.
If the time is between 1:30—1:59, the
time will change to 2:00.
When the instrument panel lights are
turned on, the brightness of the time in-
dication will be reduced. Once the electrical power source has
been disconnected from the clock, the
time is automatically set to 1:00 (one
o’clock).

Auxiliary box
To use the box, open it as shown.
CAUTION
To reduce the chance of injury in
case of an accident or a sudden stop,
always keep the auxiliary box closed
while driving.
Cup holder
To use the cup holder, pull it out com-
pletely.
The cup holder is designed for holding
different sized cups or drink-cans fit snug-
ly in its holes. You can hold regular-sized
cup or drink-can in the right hole and
larger-sized one in the left hole.
