Maintenance and care
Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs yourself. The difficulty level of
replacement varies depending on the bulb. If necessary bulb
replacement seems difficult to perfor m, contact your Toyota dealer.
For more information about replacing other light bulbs, contact your
Toyota dealer.
n Prepare a replacement light bulb.
Check the wattage of the light bulb being replaced. ( →P. 334)

Front turn signal/
parking lights

Unplug the connector.
Remove the rubber cover.

Release the bulb retaining
spring.
Remove the bulb.
To install a new bulb, align the
tabs of the bulb with the cutouts
of the mounting hole.

Front fog lights (if equipped)
Remove the bolts and clips.
Partly remove the fender liner.

Unplug the connector while
depressing the lock release.
Turn the bulb counterclockwise.
Reinstall the bolts and clips.
n Front side marker lights
Remove the bolts and clips.

Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.
Reinstall the bolts and clips.

Reinstall the bolts and clips.
n Back-up lights, stop/tail and rear side marker lights and rear
turn signal lights
Open the trunk lid and remove
the clip.
Partly remove the cover and turn
the bulb bases counterclock-
wise.

n High mounted stoplight (vehicle s without the rear spoiler)
Disengage the claws.
Pull and remove the high
mounted stoplight.
Unplug the connector.

Open the trunk lid.
If equipped:
Remove the clips and partly
remove the cover.
