Maneuvering
When alternating between forward (D ) and
re verse (R ) -for instance, while maneuve ­
ring the vehicle into a tight parking space -
shift only when the vehicle has come to a
full stop and the engine is running at idle
speed.

E ngage P (Park) only when the vehicle is

ot moving . When parking your vehicle, ap­
ply the parking brake first, and then m ove
