Using the w rong child restraint or an improp­erly installe d child restraint can ca use seriou s personal injury or death in an accident.
Always make sure th at the safe ty be lt re­
tractor is locked when i nsta llin g a child seat. An unlocked safe ty belt retrac tor cannot hold the child seat in place during normal drivi n g or in a crash.
Always buckle the child scat firm ly in place

seat can fly around durin g a sudden stop or in
a collision.
