Proper seating position for the driver
The proper driver seating position is important for safe, relaxed driving.

In crashes unbelted occupant s cannot stop themselve s from flying forward and
being injured or killed. Always wear your safety belts.

A safety belt extende r is available if a belt is too short for the driver o r a pas

Wearing safe ty belts impro perl y can cause
se rious injury or death. Saf ety bel ts ca n
only work when they a re co rrect ly po si
tio ned on the body. Improper seating posi
t ions redu ce th e e ffec tive ne ss o f safe ty

j ury and dea th by mo ving the safety belt t o
c riti ca l area s of the body. Improper seating

i njury and dea th when a n airbag dep loys
