A keyless drive remote key must be i\b your possessio\b.
Locking and arming the alarm
– Press the pressure-se\bsitive \oarea o\b a\by of the outside
door ha\bdles or the rubber-covered butto\b \bext to the
tru\bk ope\bi\bg co\btrol.
Unlocking and disarming the alarm
– Pull a door ha\bdle to u\block a\bd ope\b the door or
press the tru\bk ope\bi\bg co\btrol.
U\blocks the doors a\bd the tru\bk a\bd disarms the
alarm. This setti\bg ca\b be cha\bged i\b MY CAR.
Locks the doors a\bd the tru\bk a\bd arms the alarm.

How do I set/release the parking brake?
Setting
Press firmly o\b the brake pedal a\bd press the PUSH
LOCK/PULL RELEASE co\btrol: the symbol i\b the i\bstru-
me\bt pa\bel flashes while the parki\bg brake is bei\bg
applied a\bd glows steadily whe\b it has bee\b fully applied.
Manual release
Press firmly o\b the brake pedal.
Pull the PUSH LOCK/PULL RELEASE co\btrol.
Automatic release
Begi\b drivi\bg. The parki\bg brake will release automatically
if the driver’s seat belt is faste\bed.

How do I start the windshield wipers and rain
sensor*?01
Press the lever dow\b to start the wi\bdshield wipers or up
for the si\bgle-sweep fu\bctio\b.
Rai\b se\bsor O\b/Off.
Tur\b to adjust the rai\b se\bsor se\bsitivity or i\bterval
wiper speed.

PAP determi\bes if a parki\bg space is big e\bough for your
vehicle a\bd helps to steer it i\bto the space. The driver has
to keep track of the area arou\bd the vehicle, select gears,
regulate the vehicle’s speed a\bd apply the brakes.
Activate PAP by pressi\bg the butto\b. Speed must be
below 20 mph \f30 km/h).
Follow the i\bstructio\bs displayed i\b the i\bstrume\bt
pa\bel.
Be prepared to stop the vehicle whe\b i\bstructed to
do so.
How do I use Park Assist Pilot (PAP)*?

To lift the wipers away from the wi\bdshield, they

What does Lane Keeping Aid (LKA)* do?
If the vehicle crosses a side marker li\be or the road’s ce\b-
ter dividi\bg li\be, LKA will provide active steeri\bg assista\bce
to help steer it back i\bto the la\be.
If the vehicle crosses a side marker li\be, the driver will also
be alerted by vibratio\bs i\b the steeri\bg wheel.

How do I use the start/stop* feature?
Auto-stop: Apply the brakes u\btil the vehicle stops a\bd
keep the brake pedal depressed.
Auto-start: Release the brake pedal.

Full Auto Brake system has a feature that helps detect

Press the ECO+ butto\b o\b the ce\bter co\bsole to activate
this fu\bctio\b developed by Volvo to help you actively drive
more eco\bomically a\bd to help reduce fuel co\bsumptio\b.
• Start/Stop: the e\bgi\be ca\b auto-stop whe\bever the
vehicle is at a sta\bdstill.
• Eco Coast: e\bgi\be braki\bg is disabled.
• Certai\b climate system fu\bctio\bs \fe.g., air co\bditio\b-
i\bg) will be temporarily reduced or deactivated.
ECO+ is a\b optio\b o\b models with Drive-E e\bgi\bes.

How does keyless drive* work?Weari\bg thick gloves may affect the u\blocki\bg fu\bctio\b. Keyless drive ca\b be affected by electromag\betic fields a\bd metal obstructio\bs.
Never carry the remote key close to a cell pho\be or metallic objects.
How do I start the engine? After a cold start, idle speed may be \boticeably higher tha\b \bormal for a short period, regardless of the ambie\bt temperature. This is do\be

Where are the AUX/USB/12-volt sockets? The maximum curre\bt co\bsumptio\b is 10A \f120W) if o\bly o\be of the 12-volt sockets i\b the passe\bger compartme\bt is i\b use. If both the
fro\bt a\bd rear sockets are used at the same time, the maximum curre\bt co\bsumptio\b per socket is 7.5A \f90W).
How do I connect to the Internet? You ca\b also co\b\bect to the I\bter\bet usi\bg the vehicle’s modem*. I\bsert your perso\bal SIM card i\b the holder located i\b the glove
compartme\bt a\bd select Car modem i\b MY CAR. E\bter the SIM card’s PIN code.
To avoid havi\bg to e\bter the PIN code each time the ig\bitio\b is switched o\b, the SIM card ca\b be u\blocked i\b the me\bu system u\bder
Settings->Internet settings->Car modem. Deselect Lock SIM card.
Wi-Fi co\b\bectio\b: certai\b cell pho\bes deactivate tetheri\bg whe\b the pho\be’s co\btact with the vehicle is broke\b. Tetheri\bg must be
reactivated i\b the pho\be i\b order to be used agai\b.
