- With both hands push the cushion rearward (2). 
- Push the cushion until it locks in place (3). 
Outboard integrated booster cushions - folding down 
- Pull the handle at the front of the cushion forward (1). 
- Push the cushion forward/downward (2).
NOTE: 
l     The booster cushion must be completely lowered before the rear seat back\
rest can be folded down. 
l     Please also refer to the instructions on the integrated booster cushion.\

CAUTION! 
If the net is installed in the forward position and the rear seat cushio\
ns are folded forward, the net 
should be positioned so that it is in front of the rear seat cushions bu\
t behind the front seat backrests 
(E). 
The eyelets on the floor of the vehicle under the front seats must not b\
e used to secure the lower 
straps of the cargo net. If these eyelets are used and the front seats a\
re moved back, the cargo net or 
upper brackets may be damaged.

l     The nylon cargo net must not be used when the optional rear-facing auxil\
iary child seat in the 
cargo area is in use. 
l     When not in use, the cargo net should not be stored unattached in the ve\

LED alarm status signals 
The status of the alarm system is indicated by the red LED at the top of\
 the dash: 
l     LED off - the alarm is not armed 
l     LED flashes once per second - the alarm is armed 
l     LED flashes rapidly before the ignition is switched on - the alarm has b\
een triggered 
l     Fault in the alarm system: If a fault has been detected in the alarm system, a message will be 
displayed in the text window. Contact your Volvo retailer.
Automatic re-lock/re-arm system 
If the vehicle is unlocked with the remote, the vehicle will re-lock and\
 the alarm will re-arm after 2 
minutes unless a door or the tailgate has been opened.

In certain circumstances, the park assist system may give unexpected war\
ning signals that can be 
caused by external sound sources that use the same ultrasound frequencie\
s as the system. This may 
include such things as the horns of other vehicles, wet tires on asphalt\
, pneumatic brakes, motorcycle 
exhaust pipes, etc. This does not indicate a fault in the system.

WARNING! 
l     The jack must correctly engage the bar in the jack attachment. The vehic\
le's weight must not rest 
on the jack attachment. See illustration " Positioning the jack" on the \
previous page. 
l     Be sure the jack is on a firm, level, non-slippery surface. 
l     Never allow any part of your body to be extended under a vehicle support\
ed by a jack. 
l     Use the jack intended for the vehicle when replacing a wheel. For any ot\
her job, use stands to 
support the side of the vehicle being worked on. 
l     Apply the parking brake and put the gear selector in the (P)ark positi\
on (or reverse on manual 
transmissions). 
l     Block the wheels standing on the ground, use rigid wooden blocks or larg\
e stones. 
l     The jack should be kept well-greased.
