Spring guide

NOTE:Slide the spring guide into the kick
shaft, make sure the groove

spring guide fits on the stopper of the
torsion spring.
4. Install:
Kick shaft assembly

Washer

NOTE:Apply the molybdenum disulfide
grease on the contacting surfaces
of the kick shaft stopper
a and
kick shaft ratchet wheel guide

Apply the engine oil on the kick
shaft.
Slide the kick shaft assembly into
the crankcase and make sure the
kick shaft stopper
a fits into the
kick shaft ratchet wheel guide.
5. Hook:
Torsion spring

NOTE:Turn the torsion spring clockwise and
hook into the proper hole
a in the
crankcase.
Kick idle gear
1. Install:
Kick idle gear
1
Washer

Circlip

NOTE:Apply the engine oil on the kick idle
gear inner circumference.
Install the kick idle gear with its
depressed side
a toward you.
New
2. Monter:
Ressort de torsion 1

N.B.:

5. Accrocher:
Ressort de torsion 1
N.B.:
Faire tourner le ressort de torsion dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre et
l’accrocher dans l’orifice correspondant
a du carter.
Pignon fou de kick
1. Monter:
Pignon fou de kick 1
Rondelle 2
Circlip 3
N.B.:
Appliquer de l’huile moteur sur la cir-
conférence intérieure du pignon fou de
kick.
Monter le pignon fou de kick en orien-
tant son côté chanfreiné a vers vous.

Starter clutch operation
Install the starter clutch drive
gear
1 onto the starter clutch
2 and hold the starter clutch.
When turning the starter clutch
drive gear counterclockwise

the starter clutch and the starter
clutch drive gear should
engage. If the starter clutch
drive gear and starter clutch do
not engage, the starter clutch is
faulty and must be replaced.
When turning the starter clutch
drive gear clockwise
È, it
should turn freely.
If the starter clutch drive gear
does not turn freely, the starter
clutch is faulty and must be
replaced.

du démarreur
Installer le pignon menant de
l’embrayage du démarreur 1 sur
l’embrayage du démarreur 2 et
maintenir l’embrayage du démar-
reur.
Tourner le pignon menant de
l’embrayage du démarreur dans le
sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre É, l’embrayage du démar-
reur et son pignon menant doivent
s’engrener. Si ce n’est pas le cas,
l’embrayage du démarreur est
défectueux et doit être remplacé.
Tourner le pignon menant de
l’embrayage du démarreur dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre È,
il doit tourner librement.
Si ce n’est pas le cas, l’embrayage
du démarreur est défectueux et doit
être remplacé.
