ÊFasten the diode (at the white tape), rectifier/regulator lead,
CDI unit lead (at the protecting tube) and AC magneto coupler
(connected to the CDI unit).
ËFasten the wire harness, starter motor lead and negative bat-
tery lead so that the plastic locking tie ends do not contact the
ignition coil lead.
ÌFasten the wire harness, rectifier/regulator lead, coolant reser-
voir hose, hot starter cable, negative battery lead and starter
motor lead.
ÍFasten the wire harness, negative battery lead, starter motor
lead, rectifier/regulator lead and coolant reservoir hose at the
white tape for the negative battery lead.
ÎFasten the wire harness at its white tape.ÏFasten the wire harness, throttle position sensor lead (in the
wire harness), starter motor lead and negative battery lead.
ÐMake sure that the throttle position sensor coupler does not go
outside the chassis.
ÑFasten the throttle position sensor lead.
ÒPass the carburetor breather hoses, carburetor overflow hose
and coolant reservoir breather hose between the connecting
rod and cross tube (frame).
ÓFasten the neutral switch lead and oil hose together with the
plastic locking ties and cut off the tie ends.
ÔPass the cylinder head breather hose through the hose guides.
ÕFasten the neutral switch lead.

ÖFasten the neutral switch lead and AC magneto lead.
×Pass the cylinder head breather hose on the inside of the radi-
ator hose 1 and on the outside of the radiator pipe (radiator
hose 4). Make sure that the cylinder head breather hose does
not go forward of the chassis.
ØPass the starter motor lead in front of the radiator hose 4.
ÙPass the clutch cable through the cable guides.
ÚPass the wire harness on the outside of the neutral switch lead
and AC magneto lead.
ÛPass the wire harness and clutch cable through the cable
guide.ÜFasten the AC magneto lead and neutral switch lead to the
cable guide at their protecting tube.
ÝPass the carburetor breather hoses, carburetor overflow hose
and coolant reservoir breather hose so that the hoses do not
contact the rear shock absorber.

ator and frame, then under the radiator mounting boss.

through the hose holder.
ÌFasten the coolant reservoir breather hose and carburetor
breather hoses together.
ÍFasten the rectifier/regulator lead.

COOLANT REPLACEMENT
WARNING
Do not remove the radiator cap
when the engine is hot.
CAUTION:
Take care so that coolant does not
splash on painted surfaces. If it
splashes, wash it away with water.
1. Place a container under the
engine.
2. Remove:

Refer to “SEAT, FUEL TANK

in the CHAPTER 4.

CHANGEMENT DU LIQUIDE DE
REFROIDISSEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT
Ne jamais enlever le bouchon de
radiateur quand le moteur est chaud.
ATTENTION:
Veiller à ne pas laisser échapper de
liquide de refroidissement sur les sur-
faces peintes. Si cela devait se pro-
duire, rincer à l’eau.
1. Placer un récipient sous le moteur.
2. Déposer:
Selle
Se reporter à la section “SELLE,
RESERVOIR DE CARBURANT
ET CACHES LATERAUX” au
CHAPITRE 4.
3. Déconnecter:
Durit du vase d’expansion 1
Vidanger entièrement le liquide
de refroidissement.
4. Connecter:
Durit du vase d’expansion
5. Déposer:
Protège-carter 1
Boulon de vidange du liquide de
refroidissement 2
6. Déposer:
Bouchon du radiateur
Vidanger entièrement le liquide
de refroidissement.
7. Nettoyer:

l’eau et consulter un médecin.
En cas de projection de liquide
de refroidissement sur les vête-
ments:
rincer rapidement à l’eau claire
puis laver à l’eau savonneuse.
En cas d’ingestion de liquide de
refroidissement:
faire immédiatement vomir et
consulter un médecin dans les
plus brefs délais.

12. Install:
Coolant reservoir cap
13. Start the engine and let it warm
up for several minutes.
14. Turn off the engine and inspect
the coolant level.
Refer to “COOLANT LEVEL
INSPECTION” section.
NOTE:Before checking the coolant level
wait a few minutes until the coolant
settles.

1. Inspect:

13. Mettre le moteur en marche et le
laisser chauffer pendant quelques
minutes.
14. Couper le moteur et vérifier le
niveau du liquide de refroidisse-
ment.
Se reporter à la section “CON-
TROLE DU NIVEAU DU
LIQUIDE DE REFROIDISSE-
MENT”.
N.B.:
Attendre quelques minutes que le liquide
de refroidissement se stabilise avant d’en
contrôler le niveau.
CONTROLE DU BOUCHON DE
RADIATEUR
1. Contrôler:
Joint (bouchon de radiateur) 1
Soupape et siège de soupape 2
Craquelures/endommagement →
Remplacer.
Dépôts de tartre 3 → Nettoyer
ou remplacer.
CONTROLE DE LA PRESSION
D’OUVERTURE DU BOUCHON DE

N.B.:
Mouiller le joint du bouchon de radiateur
à l’aide d’eau.
