ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION
1. Start the engine, warm it up for
several minutes, and then turn
off the engine and wait for five
minutes.
2. Place the machine on a level
place and hold it up on upright
position by placing the suitable
stand under the engine.
3. Inspect:
Oil level
Oil should be up to the full
level in the check window

Level check window is not full.
→ Add 0.2 L (0.18 Imp qt, 0.21
US qt) of oil.

CAUTION:
Do not add any chemical addi-
tives. Engine oil also lubricates
the clutch and additives could
cause clutch slippage.

CONTROLE DU NIVEAU D’HUILE
MOTEUR
1. Mettre le moteur en marche, le faire
chauffer pendant quelques minutes
puis le couper et attendre cinq
minutes.
2. Placer la moto sur un sol plan et la
maintenir à la verticale en plaçant
un support adéquat sous le moteur.
3. Contrôler:
Niveau d’huile
Le niveau d’huile doit correspon-
dre au niveau maximal du hublot
de contrôle 1.
Le niveau d’huile du hublot de
contrôle n’est pas au maximum.
→ Ajouter 0,2 L (0,18 Imp qt,
0,21 US qt) d’huile.
(USA et CDN)
ATTENTION:
Ne pas ajouter d’additifs chimiques.
L’huile moteur lubrifie également
l’embrayage et les additifs pour-
raient provoquer un patinage de
l’embrayage.
Veiller à empêcher toute pénétra-
tion de corps étrangers dans le car-
ter moteur.
Huile recommandée:
Yamalube 4, SAE10W30
ou SAE20W40

MOTORÖLSTAND
KONTROLLIEREN
1. Den Motor anlassen, einige
Minuten lang betreiben und
dann abstellen, anschließend
fünf Minuten lang warten.
2. Das Motorrad auf einem ebenen
Untergrund abstellen, am Motor
aufbocken und in gerader Stel-
lung halten.
3. Kontrollieren:
Ölstand
Das Öl sollte bis zur Vollmar-
kierung im Schauglas
1 rei-
chen.
Ölstand im Schauglas ist nicht
voll.
→ 0,2 L (0,18 Imp qt,
0,21 US qt) Öl hinzufügen.
(USA und CDN)
ACHTUNG:
Keine Additive beimischen! Da
das Motoröl auch zur Schmie-
rung der Kupplung dient, kön-
nen Zusätze zu Kupplungsrut-
schen führen.
Darauf achten, dass keine
Fremdkörper in das Kurbelge-
häuse gelangen.
Empfohlene Ölsorte:
Yamalube 4,
SAE10W30 oder
SAE20W40
Yamalube 4-R,
SAE10W50
API Service, Sorte SG
oder höher/JASO MA
CONTROLLO DEL LIVELLO
OLIO MOTORE
1. Avviare il motore, farlo riscaldare
per alcuni minuti, quindi spegnerlo
e attendere cinque minuti.
2. Collocare il mezzo su una superficie
piana in posizione verticale
ponendo un cavalletto adatto sotto il
motore.
3. Controllare:
Livello olio
L’olio deve risultare al massimo
livello dalla finestra di controllo
1.
La finestra di controllo livello
non è piena. → Aggiungere 0,2 L
(0,18 Imp qt, 0,21 US qt) di olio.
(USA e CDN)
ATTENZIONE:
Non aggiungere alcun additivo chi-
mico. L’olio per motori è adatto
anche alla lubrificazione della fri-
zione. Gli additivi possono causare
una diminuzione dello scorrimento
della frizione.
Non fare entrare materiale estraneo
nel carter.
Olio raccomandato:
Yamalube 4, SAE10W30
o SAE 20W40
Yamalube 4-R,

COMPROBACIÓN DEL NIVEL DE
ACEITE DEL MOTOR
1. Arranque el motor, caliéntelo
durante algunos minutos y luego
párelo y espere cinco minutos.
2. Sitúe la máquina en una superfi-
cie horizontal y manténgala en
posición vertical colocando un
soporte adecuado debajo del
motor.
3. Comprobar:
Nivel de aceite
El aceite debería estar al
máximo nivel en la ventana de
comprobación

La ventana de comprobación
del nivel no está llena.
→
Añada 0,2 L (0,18 Imp qt,
0,21 US qt) de aceite.

ATENCION:
No añada aditivos químicos. El
aceite del motor lubrica tam-
bién el embrague y el uso de
aditivos puede provocar que el
embrague patine.
Evite que penetren materias
extrañas en el cárter.

5. Start the engine and let it warm
up for several minutes.
6. Turn off the engine and inspect
the oil level once again.
NOTE:Wait a few minutes until the oil set-
tles before inspecting the oil level.

ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
1. Start the engine and warm it up
for several minutes, and then
turn off the engine and wait for
five minute.

3. Place a suitable container under
the engine.(sauf USA et CDN)
ATTENTION:
Ne pas ajouter d’additifs chimiques
ni utiliser d’huiles de qualité CD a
ou supérieure.
Ne pas utiliser d’huiles portant l’in-
dication “ENERGY CONSERVING
II” b ou supérieure. L’huile mo-
teur lubrifie également l’embraya-
ge et les additifs pourraient
provoquer un patinage de l’em-
brayage.
Veiller à empêcher toute pénétra-
tion de corps étrangers dans le car-
ter moteur.
4. Monter:
Bouchon du réservoir d’huile
5. Mettre le moteur en marche et le
laisser chauffer pendant quelques
minutes.
6. Couper le moteur et vérifier à nou-
veau le niveau d’huile.
N.B.:
Attendre quelques minutes que l’huile se
stabilise avant d’en contrôler le niveau.
Huile recommandée:
SAE10W30, SAE10W40,
SAE15W40, SAE20W40
ou SAE20W50

CHANGEMENT DE L’HUILE
MOTEUR
1. Mettre le moteur en marche, le faire
chauffer pendant quelques minutes
puis le couper et attendre cinq

2. Placer la moto sur un sol plan et la
maintenir à la verticale en plaçant
un support adéquat sous le moteur.
3. Déposer un récipient adéquat sous
le moteur.
