Keine Additive beimischen oder
Öle mit einer Dieselspezifika-
tion “…/CD” a oder höherwertig
verwenden.
Keine Öle der Klasse “ENERGY
CONSERVING II” b oder höher-
wertig verwenden. Da das
Motoröl auch zur Schmierung
der Kupplung dient, können
Zusätze zu Kupplungsrutschen
führen.
Darauf achten, dass keine
Fremdkörper in das Kurbelge-
häuse gelangen.
4. Montieren:
Öltankverschluss
5. Den Motor anlassen und einige
Minuten lang betreiben.
6. Den Motor abstellen und den
Ölstand erneut kontrollieren.
HINWEIS:
Vor der Ölstandkontrolle einige Minu-
ten warten, damit sich das Öl setzen
kann.
Empfohlene Ölsorte:
SAE10W30,
SAE10W40,
SAE15W40,
SAE20W40 oder
SAE20W50
API Service, Sorte SG
oder höher/JASO MA
MOTORÖL WECHSELN
1. Den Motor anlassen, einige
Minuten lang betreiben und
dann abstellen; anschließend
fünf Minuten lang warten.
2. Das Motorrad auf einem ebenen
Untergrund abstellen, am Motor
aufbocken und in gerader Stel-
lung halten.
3. Ein Auffanggefäß unter den
Motor stellen.(Eccetto USA e CDN)
ATTENZIONE:
Non aggiungere additivi chimici o
utilizzare tipi di olio con un CD a o
superiore.
Non utilizzare tipi di olio con l’eti-
chetta “ENERGY CONSERVING
II” b o superiore. L’olio per motori
è adatto anche alla lubrificazione
della frizione. Gli additivi possono
causare una diminuzione dello scor-
rimento della frizione.
Non fare entrare materiale estraneo
nel carter.
4. Installare:
Tappo serbatoio olio
5. Avviare il motore e farlo riscaldare
per alcuni minuti.
6. Spegnere il motore e controllare
nuovamente il livello dell’olio.
NOTA:
Attendere pochi minuti finché l’olio non
si deposita prima di controllarne il
livello.
Olio raccomandato:
SAE10W30, SAE10W40,
SAE15W40, SAE20W40
o SAE20W50
API service tipo SG o
superiore/JASO MA
SOSTITUZIONE DELL’OLIO
MOTORE
1. Avviare il motore, farlo riscaldare
per alcuni minuti, quindi spegnerlo
e attendere cinque minuti.
2. Collocare il mezzo su una superficie
piana in posizione verticale
ponendo un cavalletto adatto sotto il
motore.
3. Collocare un recipiente adatto sotto
il motore. (excepto USA y CDN)
ATENCION:
No añada ningún aditivo quí-
mico ni utilice aceites con un
grado CD a o superior.
No utilice aceites con la etiqueta
“ENERGY CONSERVING II” b o
superior. El aceite del motor
lubrica también el embrague y el
uso de aditivos puede provocar
que el embrague patine.
Evite que penetren materias
extrañas en el cárter.
4. Instalar:
Tapón del depósito de aceite
5. Arranque el motor y déjelo
calentar unos minutos.
6. Pare el motor y vuelva a com-
probar el nivel de aceite.
NOTA:
Espere unos minutos hasta que el
aceite se asiente antes de compro-
bar el nivel.
Aceite recomendado:
SAE10W30,
SAE10W40,
SAE15W40,
SAE20W40 o
SAE20W50
Servicio API tipo SG o
superior/JASO MA
CAMBIO DE ACEITE DEL MOTOR
1. Arranque el motor, caliéntelo
durante algunos minutos y luego
párelo y espere cinco minutos.
2. Sitúe la máquina en una superfi-
cie horizontal y manténgala en
posición vertical colocando un
soporte adecuado debajo del
motor.
3. Coloque un recipiente apropiado
debajo del motor.

VALVE CLEARANCE INSPECTION
AND ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:This section is intended for those

concerning the servicing of Yamaha
motorcycles (e.g., Yamaha dealers,

have little knowledge and skill con-
cerning servicing are requested not
to undertake inspection, adjustment,
disassembly, or reassembly only by

to servicing trouble and mechanical

NOTE:The valve clearance should be
adjusted when the engine is cool to
the touch.
The piston must be at Top Dead
Center (T.D.C.) on compression
stroke to check or adjust the valve
clearance.

Fuel tank
Refer to “SEAT, FUEL TANK
AND SIDE COVERS” section.
2. Drain:
Coolant
Refer to “COOLANT
REPLACEMENT” section.
3. Remove:
Right radiator
Refer to “RADIATOR” section
in the CHAPTER 5.
Carburetor
Refer to “CARBURETOR”
section in the CHAPTER 5.
Spark plug
Upper engine bracket
Cylinder head cover

tion in the CHAPTER 5.

N.B.:

etc.). Les personnes non qualifiées ne

N.B.:
Le jeu aux soupapes doit être réglé
quand le moteur est froid au toucher.
Le piston doit être au point mort haut
(PMH) de la course de compression
pour permettre le contrôle ou le
réglage du jeux aux soupapes.
