ÎPass the radiator breather
hose in front of the radiator, on
the left of the chassis, and then
between the frame and radiator
hose 4.
ÏFasten the sub-wire harness
and engine stop switch lead to
the CDI unit bracket at the
white-taped portion of the sub-
wire harness and with the
clamp ends facing downward.ÐLocate the clamp ends in the
arrowed range.
ÑFasten the neutral switch lead
and CDI magneto lead over the
hump of the frame.
ÒFasten the hot starter cable
and throttle cable onto the
frame. Locate the clamp ends
under the hot starter cable.

ÎDen Kühler-Entlüftungsschlauch vor
den Kühler, links vom Rahmen und
dann zwischen Rahmen und Kühler-
schlauch führen.
ÏDen Nebenkabelbaum und das
Motorstoppschalterkabel an der Zünd-
box-Halterung an der weißmarkierten
Stelle des Nebenkabelbaums befesti-
gen, und dabei die Klemmenenden
nach unten weisen lassen.
ÐDie Klemmenenden in dem mit Pfei-
len markierten Bereich lokalisieren.
ÑDas Leerlaufschalterkabel und das
CDI-Schwunglichtmagnetzünderka-
bel über dem Buckel des Rahmens
befestigen.
ÒDen Warmstartzug und den Gaszug
am Rahmen befestigen. Die Klem-
men-Enden müssen sich unter dem
Warmstartzug befinden. ÎAcheminer la durit de mise à l’air du
radiateur devant le radiateur, à la gauche
du châssis, puis entre le cadre et la durit
de radiateur 4.
ÏAttacher le faisceau de fils secondaire et
le fil du coupe-circuit du moteur au sup-
port de boîtier CDI au niveau de la partie
blanche du faisceau de fils secondaire en
orientant les extrémités du collier à pince
vers le bas.
ÐRechercher les extrémités du collier à
pince dans la plage fléchée.
ÑAttacher le fil du contacteur de point mort
et le fil du volant magnétique CDI à la
bosse du cadre.
ÒFixer le câble de démarrage à chaud et le
câble des gaz au cadre. Placer les extrémi-
tés du collier à pince sous le câble de
démarrage à chaud.ÎFar passare il flessibile di sfiato radiatore
davanti al radiatore, nella parte sinistra
della parte ciclistica, quindi tra il telaio e
il flessibile radiatore 4.
ÏFissare il cablaggio secondario e il cavo
interruttore di arresto motore alla staffa
unità CDI sulla parte con nastro bianco
del cablaggio secondario e con le estre-
mità del morsetto rivolte verso il basso.
ÐPosizionare le estremità del morsetto
nell’intervallo indicato dalle frecce.
ÑFissare il cavo dell’interruttore folle e il
cavo magnete CDI oltre la gobba del
telaio.
ÒFissare il cavo starter per partenze a caldo
ed il cavo acceleratore sul telaio. Siste-
mare in posizione le estremità del mor-
setto sotto il cavo starter per partenze a
caldo.

1. Start the engine and thoroughly warm it up.
2. Adjust:

Adjustment steps:
Adjust the pilot screw.
Refer to “PILOT SCREW ADJUSTMENT”
section.
Turn the throttle stop screw 1 until the
specified engine idling speed.
NOTE:
Using a digital engine tachometer for idle
speed adjustment, detect the engine idling
speed by bringing the sensing element c of
the engine tachometer close to the ignition
coil 2.
To increase idle speed → Turn the throt-
tle stop screw 1 in a.
To decrease idle speed → Turn the throt-
tle stop screw 1 out b.
Engine idling speed:
1,900 ~ 2,100 r/min

VALVE CLEARANCE INSPECTION AND
ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:
The valve clearance should be adjusted
when the engine is cool to the touch.
The piston must be at Top Dead Center
(T.D.C.) on compression stroke to check or
adjust the valve clearance.

Apply the fluorochemical grease on the bear-
ings.
Fit the projection a on the throttle shaft
assembly into the slot b in the throttle posi-
tion sensor.
Make sure the stopper c of the spring fits
into the recess in the carburetor.
Turn the throttle shaft assembly left while
holding down the lever 1 5 and fit the throt-
tle stop screw tip d to the stopper e of the
throttle shaft assembly pulley.
