Auto Interior Illumination
While the headlight switch is turned
on, the interior lights gradually dim,
as the outside light level gets low.
You can customize at which outside
light level the lights start to dim.
ThereareMAX,HIGH,MID,LOW
and MIN levels and OFF for the auto
interior illumination settings.
If you want the illuminations to start
dimming as early as possible, select
MAX. For illuminations to start
dimming as late as possible, select
MIN. Choose HIGH, MID, or LOW
f or levels in between.
To disable the auto interior
illumination f unction, select OFF. You can choose this item to
customize f rom ‘‘METER SETUP’’
by pressing the INFO ( / ) button
repeatedly.
Press the SEL/RESET button to see
the selections.
Select the desired setting by
pressing the INFO ( / ) button,
then enter your selection by pressing
the SEL/RESET button.

the setting you want to customize,

When your selection is successf ully
completed, the display changes as
shown above, and then goes back to
the customizable item screen. When KEYLESS ACCESS BEEP is
set to ON, the beeper sounds twice
when you unlock the doors by
grabbing the drivers door handle
while carrying the remote.
If the ‘‘SETTING INCOMPLETE’’
message appears, go back to
‘‘KEYLESS ACCESS LIGHT
FLASH’’ and repeat the procedure
again. You can choose this item to
customize f rom ‘‘KEYLESS ACCESS
SETUP’’ by pressing the INFO ( /
) button repeatedly.
When you lock the doors by pushing
the door lock button while carrying
the remote, the beeper sounds once.

Headlight Auto Of f Timer
You can choose this item to
customize f rom ‘‘LIGHTING
SETUP’’ by pressing the INFO ( /) button repeatedly. Press the SEL/RESET button to see
the selections.
The headlights, parking lights, side
marker lights, taillights, and license
plate lights go of f af ter the selected
time when you remove the key f rom
the ignition switch and close the
driver’s door. On models with
keyless access system, the lights go
of f af ter the selected time when you
close the driver’s door and take the
remote with you. To change how
longthelightsstayonbeforetheygo
of f , f ollow these instructions:
Select the desired setting (60 sec, 30
sec, 15 sec or 0 sec) by pressing the
INFO ( / ) button, then enter
your selection by pressing the SEL/
RESET button.

on when the headlight switch is in
the AUTO position and the ambient
light reaches a changeable level. You
can select the auto light sensitivity
f rom the f ollowing f ive levels:
MAX
The headlights come on when it
is bright.
HIGH
Theheadlightscomeonwhenitis
somewhat bright.
MID
Theheadlightscomeonwhenitisas
bright as sunset or sunrise.
LOW

somewhat dark.

is dark.
