Interior Lights
■ON
The interior lights come on regardless of
whether the doors are open or closed.
■Door activated
The interior lights come on in the following
situations:
• When any of the doors are opened.
• You unlock the driver’s door.
• When the power mode is set to VEHICLE
OFF (LOCK).
■OFF
The interior lights remain off regardless of
whether the doors are open or closed.

In the door activated position, the interior lights fade
out and go off about 30 se conds after the doors are
closed.
The lights go off after about 30 seconds in the
following situations:
•When you unlock the driver’s door but do not open
it.
•When you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF
(LOCK) but do not open a door.
You can change the interi or lights dimming time.

The interior lights go off i mmediately in the following
situations:
•When you lock the driver’s door.
•When you close the driver’s door in ACCESSORY
mode.
•When you set the power mode to ON.
To avoid draining the ba ttery, do not leave the
interior light on for an extended length of time when
the engine is off.
If you leave any of the doors open in VEHICLE OFF
(LOCK) mode, the interior lights go off after about 15
minutes.

The map lights can be turned on and off by
pressing the (map light) button.

When the interior light swit ch is in the door activated
position and any door is open, the map light will not
go off when you press th e (map light) button.

Controls
If the headlight switch is in AUTO and it is
dark outside, the ambient lights come on
when a door is opened. They also come on
when the headlights or the parking lights are
on.
If you want to turn off the ambient lights, set
the ambient light off switch to OFF.

Any adjustments you make to the brightness of the
ambient lights will affect the brightness of the meter
lights.

Press the button to open the glove box. You
can lock the glove box with the built-in key.
■Removable shelf
The shelf in the glove box is detachable. To
remove it, disengage the tabs.
The removable shelf can be stored upside
down in the glove box.

The glove box light comes on when the parking lights
are on.
3WARNING
An open glove box can cause serious injury
to your passenger in a crash, even if the
passenger is wearing the seat belt.
Always keep the glove box closed while
driving.

To access the center pocket, push the lid
forward until the latch engages.
To close it, push forward on the tab until the
latch releases, then allow the lid to slide to the
fully closed position.
To open the center pocket tray, push the tray
forward until it latches.
To close it, push forward on the tab until the
latch release, then pul l the tray rearward to
the fully closed position.

Are located on the both of the front door side

Fold the armrest down to use the rear seat
beverage holders.

The accessory power sockets can be used when the power mode is in ACCESSORY
or ON.

NOTICE
Do not insert an automotive type cigarette lighter
element. This can overheat the power socket.
The accessory power socket s are designed to supply
power for 12-volt DC accessories that are rated 180
watts (15 amps) or less.
To prevent battery drain, only use the power socket
with the engine running.

To use the wireless charger, the power mode must be in ACCESSORY or ON.
Charge a compatible device on the ar ea indicated by the mark as follows:
1. Open the center pocket.

2.Place the device you want to charge on the
charging area.
u The system will au tomatically start
charging the device, and the green
indicator light will come on.
u Make sure that the device is compatible
with the system, and placed with the
chargeable side in the center of the
charging area.
3. When charging is completed, the green
indicator light will go off.
u If the device is not located on the charge
area correctly, the green indicator light
will blink.

display, you can disable th e wireless charger function.

3CAUTION
Metal objects between the charge pad and
the device to be charged will get hot and
can burn you.
•Always remove foreign objects from the
charge pad before charging the device.
• Be sure the surface is clear of dust and
other debris before charging.
• Do not spill liquids (i. e. water, drinks,
etc.) on the charger and the device.
• Do not use oil, grease, alcohol, benzine
or thinner for cleaning the charge pad.
• Do not cover the system with towels,
clothing, or other objects while charging
etc.
• Avoid spraying aerosols which may come
in contact with the change pad surface.

■When charging does not start
Perform one of the solution s in the following table.

Wireless Charger*
This system consumes a lot of power. Do not use the
system for a long time when the engine is not
running. This may weaken the battery, making it
difficult to start the engine.
When using the wireless charger, check the user’s
manual that came with th e compatible device you
want to charge.
NOTICE
Do not place any magneti c recording media or
precision machines within the charging area while
charging.
The data on your cards such as credit cards can be
lost because of the magneti c effect. Also precision
machines such as watches can go wrong.
