Remove leavesfromtheplenumpanelinfront
ofthewindshieldundertheenginehood.This
preventsthewaterdrainholesfrombecoming
blocked,
anditpreventsdebrisfromentering
thevehicleinteriorthroughtheheatingand
ventilationducts.
Corrosionprotection'--.
Theenginecompartmentandtransmission
havebeencorrosion-protectedatthefactory.
Good
anti-corrosiontreatmentisvery impor
tant,particularlyinthewinter.Ifthevehicle
isfrequentlydriven onsalttreatedroads,the
entireenginecompartmentandplenumpanel
shouldbethoroughlycleanedattheendof
winterandretreatedtopreventsaltdamage.
Atthesametime,theundersideofthevehicle
shouldbewashedaswell.
Iftheenginecompartmentiscleanedatany
timewithgreaseremovingsolutionslJ
