Principle
High-beamassistancedetectsotherroadusers ingoodtimeandactivatesordeactivatesthe highbeamdependingonthetrafficsituation.
General High-beamassistanceensuresthatthehigh-
beamheadlightsareswitchedonwhenthetraffic
situationallows.Thesystemdoesnotswitchon
thehigh-beamheadlightsatlowspeeds.
Thesystemrespondstothelightsfromoncomj
ingtrafficandtrafficdrivingaheadofyou,andto
ambientlighting,forexampleinbuilt-upareas.
Thehigh-beamheadlightscanbeswitchedon
andoffmanuallyatanytime.
Iftheno-dazzlehighbeamassistantisinstalled,
thehigh-beamheadlightsarenotswitchedoff foroncomingvehiclesorvehiclesdrivingaheadofyou.Thesystemonlymasksthoseareasofthebeamwhichwouldotherwisedazzleoncomjingtrafficortrafficdrivingahead.Inthiscase,theblueindicatorlampcontinuestoilluminate.
Iftheheadlightsareconverted,high-beamassisj
tancemayonlyfunctiontoalimitedextent.

serhigh-beamheadlightisswitchedonautomatj icallyinadditiontoLEDhigh-beamheadlightfromaspeedofapproximately60km/h,37mph.
