Harder vehicle deceleration
In certain situations, it can be necessary to
bring the vehicle to a halt more quickly than the Brake Assistant allows.
To do this, quickly apply extra force to the
brake. For a brief period, the brake pressure
will be higher than the brake pressure that is
achieved by the automatic braking function.
This interrupts automatic brake actuation.
Canceling automatic braking
It can be necessary to interrupt automatic braking in certain situations, for example for anevasive maneuver.
