1. Speedometer.

2. Left-hand direction indicator and
hazard warning lights indicator
light.

3. Main beam headlamps indicator
light.

4. Diesel pre-heating indicator light.

5. Side lights indicator light.

6. Front fog lamps indicator light.

7. Seat belt not fastened/unfastened
warning light.
Panel grouping together the dials and

Panel grouping together the dials and
warning/indicator lights. These inform
the driver of the activation of a system
(operation or deactivation indicator
lights) or of the occurrence of a fault
(warning lights).

Prevention messages
Information messages (ignition at "ON")

Message is on Status of the system
2WD two wheel drive system Flashing When the "2WD" (2 wheel drive) mode is selected using the
transmission mode selector.
4WD four wheel drive system Flashing When the "4WD" (4 wheel drive) mode is selected using the
transmission mode selector.
This mode is the default mode.
4WD LOCK four
wheel drive system Flashing When the "LOCK" (4 wheel drive) mode is selected using the
transmission mode selector.
Exterior
temperature Fixed This indicates the exterior temperature.
When the vehicle is stationary or if the speed is below 12 mp
h
(20 km/h) the temperature displayed may not correspond to the
exterior temperature.

Display is on Cause Solution - action Observations
Service
indicator Fixed Informs the driver of
the time remaining
before the vehicle's
scheduled service. Consult a CITROËN
dealer.
This is displayed for a few
seconds when the ignition is
switched on.
Break
advised Fixed Informs the driver that
he should stop to take
a break. You are advised to
take a break. This is displayed when the
driving time that you set
previously is reached.
An audible signal is heard
3 times and is then heard every
5 minutes until the vehicle
stops.

INFORMATION ON THE
INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAY
Data displays
With the ignition on, press the
INFO but-
ton, located on the fascia to the right of
the instrument panel, to display the vari-
ous information displays in succession:
- the distance recorder A,
- the distance recorder B,
- the service indicator,
- the coolant temperature,
- the range,
- the trip computer,
- the setting menu.
This displays the distance
and the number of months
remaining before the next
service to be carried out in
accordance with the manu-
facturer’s servicing schedule
(refer to the "Service indica-
tor" section).
Service indicator
When the engine is run-
ning, this indicates the
temperature of the cool-
ant (refer to the "Coolant
temperature indicator"
section).
Coolant temperature When the engine is run-
ning, this indicates the
number of miles (kilo-
metres) which can still
be travelled with the fuel
remaining in the tank in
relation to the average
consumption over the
last few miles (kilometres) travelled (re-
fer to the "Range" section).
Range
This indicates the aver-
age consumption, the
average speed and the
current consumption (re-
fer to the "Trip computer"
section).
Trip computer

When the vehicle is
stationary , this allows
the user to change the
following parameters
(refer to the "Function
parameters" section):
- the display language,
- the temperature dis- play unit,
- the fuel consumption unit,
- the option to reinitialise the aver- age consumption and the average
speed,
- the break (rest) reminder display in- terval.

SERVICE INDICATOR Resetting the service indicator to zero
Your CITROËN dealer carries out this
operation after each service.
If you have carried out your vehicle's
service yourself, the zero reset proce-
dure is the following:

 switch off the ignition.

 press the INFO button several times
in succession until the service indi-
cator is displayed.

 press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds until the spanner
fl ashes .

 press the INFO button while the
spanner is fl ashing to change the
display "---" to "CLEAR" then the
time remaining before the next serv-
ice is due is displayed.
Service overdue
Operation
When the ignition is switched on, you
must press the INFO button several
times in succession until the service
indicator is displayed. The distance re-
corder display line indicates the number
of miles (kilometres) remaining and the
time elapsed line indicates the number
of months remaining before the next
service is due.
After a certain distance and a certain
time, the displaying of "---" is reinitialised
and the display indicates the time re-
maining before the next service is due.
System which informs the driver when
the next service is due in accordance
with the manufacturer's servicing
schedule.
The point at which the next service is
due is calculated from the last service
indicator zero reset.
It is determined by two parameters:
- the distance travelled (in miles (km),
- the time elapsed since the last service (in months).
The distance remaining to be travelled
may be weighted by the time factor, de-
pending on the user's driving habits.
Example: the display indicates that
7 300 miles (kilometres) remain before
the next service is due.
The symbol "--" remains displayed
until the fi rst service of a new vehicle
has been carried out.

Example: the display indicates that the
service is overdue. This service must
be carried out by a CITROËN dealer.
Each time the ignition is switched on,
the display
"SCHEDULED SERVICE"
is displayed for a few seconds to indi-
cate that the service must be carried
out without delay.
