FRONT SEATS
1. Fore/aft adjustment
Lift the control and slide the seat

Manual interior mirror
The lever on the lower edge
enables you to place the rear view
mirror in either of two positions:
Day position: the lever is not
visible.
Night position (antidazzle): the
lever is visible.

Exterior rear view mirrors
Inside the vehicle, move the lever
in all four directions to adjust the
rear view mirror.
Folding/Deployment
For parking, the exterior rear
view mirrors can be folded and
redeployed manually.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS
The driver and front passenger
each have an electric window.
After the ignition has been swit-
ched on, press or pull control 1.
The window stops when you re-
lease the control.
Always remove the key from the ignition
when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time.
The driver must ensure that the front passenger uses his electric window correctly.
Be aware of children when operating the windows.
STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT
ADJUSTMENT
When stationary , lower the
handle to unlock the steering
wheel.
Adjust to the desired height and
lift the handle to lock the steering
wheel.

The set of keys or the remote
control delivered with your vehicle
permits a maximum of three new
keys to be produced.
Should you lose all the keys in your
possession, this will necessitate a
major operation on your vehicle.
Consult a CITROËN dealer.
The keys
These operate the locks on the
front doors, the boot, the fuel cap,
and the steering, as well as the
ignition and the deactivation of the
passenger airbag.
Central locking and unlocking
The keys, used in the driver’s door,
simultaneously lock or unlock the
doors and boot.
The remote control
This operates the locking, and
also the vehicle location, functions
from a distance.
Locking
A press on button
A locks the
vehicle.
This is confirmed by the direction
indicators illuminating briefly.
Unlocking
A press on button B unlocks the
vehicle.
This is confirmed by a rapid
flashing of the direction indica-
tors.
Note : after locking, if you find that
a door is not closed properly, close
it and then relock the vehicle. Locating your vehicle
To locate your vehicle, if you have
locked it, in a car park:

press button A, the direction
indicators come on briefly.
Note : The simultaneous operation
of other high frequency equipment
(mobile telephones, domestic
alarms, etc.) may momentarily
interfere with the functioning of
the remote control.
Any inadvertent operation of the remote control, for
example in your pocket, can unlock the vehicle without your knowing it.

IMMOBILISER
This locks the engine control system
as soon as the ignition has been
switched off and therefore prevents
starting of the vehicle by anyone
who does not have the key.
The ignition key has an electronic
chip which has a special code.
When the ignition is switched on,
the code must be recognised for
starting to be possible.
In the event of a malfunction, your
vehicle will not start.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
Changing the remote control
battery
To change the battery, remove
the screw then unclip the housing
using a coin inserted at the ring.
Battery CR 2016 / 3 volts.
If the remote control does not
work after the battery has been
changed, reprogramme it.
Do not discard the remote
control batteries, they contain
metals which are harmful to the
environment.
Return them to a CITROËN dealer,
or any approved collection point.Reprogramming the remote
control
Following replacement of the
remote control battery or in
the event of a remote control
malfunction, it may be necessary
to reprogramme the system.
 Switch off the ignition.

Switch the ignition on again. 
Press one of the remote control
buttons immediately for a few
seconds.
 Switch off the ignition and
remove the key from the ignition
lock.
The remote control is now working
again.
If the malfunction persists, contact
a CITROËN dealer.
