 Position the jack 2 on one of
the four jacking points A pro-

After changing a wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts and the pressure of
the spare wheel checked as

the vehicle as soon as
possible.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.

Light alloy wheels
If your vehicle is equipped with
light alloy wheels and a steel spare

normal to note that the heads of
the wheel bolts do not come to
bear on the wheel rim.
The steel spare wheel is secured
by the conical tapering of the
wheel bolts’ shafts, see diagram.
When refitting the light alloy wheel,

TOWING YOUR VEHICLE
Your vehicle can only be towed
at the front.
Without lifting (all four wheels
on the ground)
You should always use a towing
bar.
The movable towing eye is stowed
in the spare wheel, under the boot
carpet.
 detach the bottom of the cover,
 screw the towing eye fully in.
If your vehicle is being towed without the engine runnin g,
there is no braking or steering assistance.
With lifting (only two wheels on the ground)
It is preferable to lift the vehicle by supporting its wheel
s.
Never use the radiator crossmember.
Towing with all four wheels on the ground, gear lever in position N (for
SensoDrive gearbox), should only be done at very slow speed over a very
short distance (and in conformity with the legislation in force ).
In all other cases, it is necessary to have your vehicle transported by a
recovery truck.
