INTERIOR
Interior mood lighting
This subdued passenger compart-
ment lighting improves visibility inside
the vehicle in low lighting conditions. It
comprises 4 lamps, located in the au-
tomatic day/night mirror support, in the
footwells and in the lower dashboard
storage compartment.

Gear effi ciency indicator
Associated with the manual gearbox,
this system suggests when to change
up to obtain optimum fuel consumption.

Scented air freshener
The scented air freshener diffuses the
selected fragrance throughout the pas-
senger compartment from its location in
the ventilation system.

After setting the desired level of com-
fort, the system then automatically con-
trols this level according to the ambient

SUN VISOR
Component which protects against sun-
light from the front or the side.
Version without Zenith windscreen
GLOVE BOX

 To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
It houses the front passenger airbag de-
activation switch A .
It gives access to the dashboard fuse-
box (see the "Practical information - §
Changing a fuse" section).
CENTRE ARMREST
Comfort and storage system for the
driver and front passenger.
Storage

 For access to the closed storage
box, lift the lever to open the lid.

 For access to the open storage box
below the armrest, lift the complete
armrest towards the rear.
These can be used for portable devices
(mobile phone, MP3 player...) which can
be connected to the USB port/auxiliary
socket or charged from the 12 V socket
in the centre console.
Version with Zenith windscreen
Refer to the "Familiarisation - § Zenith
windscreen" section.
The sun visors are fi tted with a courtesy
mirror, with concealing fl ap for the driver
and a ticket/card holder.

CHANGING A FUSE
Procedure for replacing a faulty fuse
with a new fuse to rectify a failure of the
corresponding function.
Access to the tools
The extraction tweezer and the spare
fuse storage locations are fi tted to the
back of the dashboard fusebox cover.
For access to them:

 open the glove box lid,

 unclip the fusebox cover by pulling
on the side,

 remove the cover completely,

 remove the tweezer. Changing a fuse
Before changing a fuse, the cause of
the failure must be identifi ed and recti-
fi ed.

 Identify the faulty fuse by checking
the condition of its fi lament.

Good
Failed

 Use the special tweezer to extract
the fuse from its housing.

 Always replace the faulty fuse with a
fuse of the same rating.

 Check that the number marked on
the box, the rating marked on the
fuse and the tables below all agree. Installing electrical

Engine compartment fusebox
The fusebox is placed in the engine
compartment near the battery (left-hand
side).
Access to the fuses

 Unclip the cover.

 Change the fuse (see corresponding
paragraph).

 When you have fi nished, close the
cover carefully to ensure the sealing
of the fusebox. Fuse table
