PRACTICAL INFORMATION
CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb
with a new bulb .
Front lights

1. Direction indicators (H21 W amber).

2. Dipped headlamps (H7-55 W).

3. Main beam headlamps (H1-55 W).

4. Side lights (W 5 W).

5. Fog lamps (PSX24 W).
In certain climatic conditions
(low temperature, humidity), the
presence of condensation on
the inside of the headlamp and
light glass is normal ; it disap-
pears a few minutes after the lights
are switched on.
 Handle the bulbs using a dry
cloth.
The headlamps are fi tted with poly-
carbonate lenses, coated with a
protective varnish:

 do not clean them with a dry
or abrasive cloth or using a
detergent or solvent product,

 use a sponge and soapy water,

 when using a high pressure
washer on stubborn dirt, do not
spend too long on the head-
lamps, lights and their sur-
rounds to avoid damaging their
varnish and their seals.
Changing direction indicator bulbs Amber coloured bulbs, such as
the direction indicators, must be
replaced with bulbs of identical
specifi cations and colour.

 Remove the plastic protective cover.

 Pull the bulb-holder and replace the
bulb.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
When refi tting, close the plastic
cover carefully to guarantee the
sealing of the headlamp. If either of the direction indicator
warning lights is fl ashing quickly,
one of the bulbs is faulty.
