Seat belt unfastened warninglamp display
When the ignition is switched on, thecorresponding warning lamps 4, 5 and 6

on in red for approximately 30 seconds, if the seat belt is not fastened.
When the en
gine is running or the vehicle
is moving, the corresponding warninglamp 4, 5 or 6
comes on in red, accompanied
by an audible signal and a message on themultifunction screen, if a rear passenger hasunfastened their seat belt.

Operating fault
If this warning lamp comes on in the
instrument panel, accompanied by
an audible warning and a message
in the multifunction screen, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop to have the system checked. The airbags may no longer be deployed
in the event of a serious impact.
Reactivation
When you remove the rear wards-facing child
seat, turn switch 1to the "ON"position toreactivate the airbag and so assure the safetyof your front passenger in the event of animpact.

With the ignition on, this warning lampcomes on in the instrument panel or in the seat belt and passenger's front airbag warning lamp display for approximately one minute, if the
passenger's front airbag is activated. According to version, this warning lamp comes on either in the instrument panel or on the seat belt and passenger's front airbag warning lamp display when the ignition is onand until the airbag is reactivated. If this warnin
g lamp flashes, contacta CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop. The passenger's front airbag may no longer be deployed in
the event of a serious impact.
Deactivation

Only the passenger's front airbag can be deactivated:)with the ignition off, inser t the key in thefpassenger airbag deactivation switch 1
, )turn it to the "OFF"position, )then, remove the key keeping the switch in
this position.
To assure the safety of your child, it isimperative that the passenger's front
airbag is deactivated when you installa "rearwards-facing" child seat on thefront passenger seat. Other wise, the child would risk beingseriously injured or killed if the airbag were deployed.

If at least one of the two airbag
warning lamps come on continuously, do not install a child seat on the front passenger seat.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

gearbox operates in auto-active mode,

- optimisation of fuel consumption,

- the style of driving,

- the vehicle load.

accelerator pedal

Never select neutral N

Steering mounted controls

Displays in the instrument panel
The speed limiter is switched onmanually:
it requires a programmed speed of at least
20 mph (30 km/h).
The speed limiter is switched off by manual foperation of the control.
The programmed speed can be exceeded
temporarily by pressing the accelerator firmly.To return to the programmed speed, simply slow down to a speed below the programmed speed.
The pro
grammed speed remains in the memorywhen the ignition is switched off.
The speed limiter cannot, in any circumstances,
replace the need to respect speed limits, nor can it replace the need for vigilance and responsibilityon the par t of the driver.

System which prevents the vehicle fromexceeding the speed programmed by the driver.
When the programmed speed limit is reached, pressing the accelerator pedal in the normalmanner no longer has any effect.

Exceeding the programmed speed

Pressing the accelerator pedal to exceed the programmed speed will not have
an
y effect unless you press the pedal firmlypast the ypoint of resistance. e The speed limiter is deactivated temporarily and the programmed speed,
which is still displayed, flashes.
Returning to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional
deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the
programmed speed.


Leaving limiter mode

to the "0"position: the speed limiter mode is
deselected. The display returns to the distance recorder.



Operating fault

In the event of a speed limiter fault, the speed
is cleared resulting in flashing of the dashes.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
)Set the speed value by pressing button 2or 3(e.g.: 55 mph(90 km/h)).
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2
and 3:


- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,

- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,

- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press. )Switch the speed limiter on by pressing button 4
. )Switch the speed limiter off by pressing button 4
: the display confirms that it has been switched off (PAUS E).)Switch the speed limiter back on by pressing button 4
again.

On a steep descent or in the event of sharp acceleration, the speed limiter willnot be able to prevent the vehicle from exceeding the programmed speed.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals:


- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- do not fit one mat on top of another.

results in flashing of this speed in the screen.
Return to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or
unintentional deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels theflashing of the speed.

Return to normal driving

position: the cruise control mode is
deselected. The display returns to the distance recorder.



Operating fault

In the event of a cruise control malfunction,
the speed is cleared resulting in flashing of the dashes.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop. )Set the programmed speed by accelerating to the required speed,
then press button 2or 3(e.g.: 70 mph (11 0 k m/h)).
)Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4
: this is confirmed in the screen (PAUSE).
)Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4again.
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3:


- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,

- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,

- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.

When the cruise control is switched on,be careful if you maintain the pressure on one of the programmed speedchanging buttons: this may result in avery rapid change in the speed of your vehicle. Do not use the cruise control on slippery roads or in heavy traffic. On a steep descent, the cruise control will not be able to prevent the vehicle from exceeding the programmed speed.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals:


- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- never fit one mat on top of another.

Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you can
contact a CITROËN dealer for the specification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power, aerial position, specific installationrequirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/10 4/EC).


By visiting a CITROËN dealer, you canalso obtain cleaning and maintenance products (interior and exterior), including the ecological products inthe "TECHNATURE" range, productsfor topping up (screenwash fluid...), touch-up pens and paint aerosols theexact colour of your vehicle, recharges (cartridge for the temporary puncturerepair kit...), ....
