It is essential for the tailgate 2 to be closed when the vehicle is being driven.
Prior conditions for remov-ing the arches:The roof cassette should be stowed away.The tailgate 2 should be open and all the windows should be down.


A. Unlocking the arches
At the front of the arch, lower part 1 of the control then part 2 to unlock.
B. In the boot, bring the handle out from its housing.
Pull it upwards.

D. Remove the arch horizontally towards the rear, in the line of the vehicle.
E. Position the boot compartment cover and the side covers.
C. Removing the arches
Make sure that the handle is in the up position.
With one hand grab the arch at the centre 1, with the other hand hold the rear extremity 2.
Raise the rear part a few centime-tres.
Handle the arches with care so as not to damage the vehicle’s bodywork.
Place the arches down horizontally on a clean, dry surfa ce so that they rest on their inner sides to prevent damage to their outer faces.

WARNING
Ensure that the contact surfaces are clean and dry.
Handle the arches with care so as not to damage the vehicle’s bodywork.
Prior conditions for the oper-ation:The windows should be down and the tailgate open.The handles 1 should be in the up position (unlocked).


A. Present the arch in the line of the vehicle, a few centimetres above the bodywork.
Advance horizontally in the line of the vehicle until the guide fi nger 2lodges into its housing.Note: Make sure that the arch is in line with the vehicle.
B. Fit the rear part of the arch so that it rests on its metal base.
Press on the arch until the rear part engages fully in its housing.Note: Make sure that the telescopic handle is completely unlocked in the up position.

Handle stowed downwards
Make sure that the telescopic han-dles 1 are correctly retracted into their housings as shown in the illustration.
C. At the rear:Lock the mechanism by press-ing fi rmly down with the palm of the hand.Press on the arch to assist lock-ing.


WARNING
A l w a y s l o c k t h e r e a r a r c h m e c h a n i s m T H E N t h e f r o n t a r c h mechanism.
It is essential to make sure that the front arch mechanisms are locked before driving the vehicle.
If the rear telescopic handles are incorrectly stowed, th ey are liable to block the movement of the roof cassette.
D. To lock the arches
At the front:Engage the front part 1 in its location.
Lock the assembly by folding part 2 against the trim.

The telescopic handles for locking the arches should be fully retracted into their housings.
Should the cassette not lock correctly, pivot it downward again, pressing the light grey control located on the in terior face (See change of confi guration Saloon to Cabriolet). Then restart the operation.
Prior conditions for reposi-tioning the cassette:The rear tailgate should be open.The rear part of the boot fl oor should be removed.
The telescopic handles for unlocking the arches should be fully retracted into their housings (see preceding pages for the repositioning of the arches).
Pull on edge A of the cassette to pivot the cassette upwards.



A. When the cassette has been pivoted fully upwards, push it towards the front to engage the assembly onto the arches.
Make sure that the arches are prop-erly secured on both sides before passing to the next operation.

Always push on the edge of the cassette, never on the roof fabric.
Warning: Do not close the tail-gate at this stage.

This movable cover consists of the main section and two side covers that are secured on the cover’s inner face.
The main section enables the boot to be closed off in Cabriolet or Spi-der confi guration.
The side covers the bases of the arches when in Spider confi gura-tion.A. Positioning the boot compart-ment cover:Place yourself at one sde of the vehicle.
Unlock and tilt the rear seat backrest.
Lift the boot cover on one side then remove it from the boot.



B. Tilt the boot cover as shown and place the pin 1 in its hous-ing. Then fl ex the boot cover to place the other pin in the opposite housing.
C. Engage the pins in their hous-ings by pulling the boot cover rearwards.Reposition the rear seat.
Note:The tailgate is locked automatically as soon as the vehicle reaches a speed of approx. 10 km/h (6 mph).
To gain access to the boot, vehicle stationary, unlock the vehicle either by opening a door or by using the remote control or the key.

D. To lock the boot compartment cover: First close the tailgate 1then the boot cover 2.
The tailgate opening control is accessed via the mobile fl ap in the boot compartment cover.
To remove the boot compartment cover, proceed in reverse order.
Do not place any object on the boot compartment cover.

The side covers are to be found on the interior face of the boot com-partment cover.
Positioning the side covers:
Deploy the ring located beneath the cover.
Make sure that the telescopic han-dles are in the fully up position when placing the side covers.
Place the cover in the location vacated by the arch.
Lower the telescopic handle with the palm of your hand to lock the cover in position.

Aero-acoustic defl ector
Your vehicle is equipped with an aero-acoustic mobile defl ector for sup-pressing any air turbulence which may occur when driving in saloon confi gu-ration with the roof open.
Operation
The defl ector deploys automatically when the roof is opened.
The latch A permits you to immobilise it.
Advice:
To improve your comfort when in cabriolet or spider confi guration, it is rec-ommended:to have the front and rear windows up
to immobilise the acoustic defl ector in the closed position.
In saloon confi guration with the roof closed for driving at high speed, you are recommended to immobilise the aero-acoustic defl ector in the cl osed position.
