The services offered by the telephone depend on the network, the SIM card and the compatibility of
the Bluetooth equipment used. Refer to your telepho ne's manual and your operator to check which
services you have access to. A list of mobile telep hones which offer the best range of services is
available from dealers.
BLUETOOTH TELEPHONE COMPATIBILITY
CONNECTING A TELEPHONE
For safety reasons and because they require prolong ed attention on
the part of the driver, the operations for pairing the Bluetooth mobile
telephone to the system's hands-free kit must be ca rried out with the
vehicle stationary and the ignition on.
Activate the telephone's Bluetooth function.
The last telephone connected is reconnected
automatically.
Select the TELEPHONE MENU
function and press the dial to conirm.
TELEPHONE MENU
Enter the authentication code on the
telephone. The code to be entered is
displayed on the screen.
To change the telephone connected,
press the PHONE button, then select
TELEPHONE MENU and press the
dial to conirm.
Once the telephone has been connected, the system c
an
synchronise the address book and the call list. Thi s synchronisation
may take a few minutes.
Select CONNECT PHONE. Select the
telephone and press to conirm.
The list of telephones connected previously (4 maxi
mum) appears
on the multifunction display. Select the telephone required for a new
connection. Press the PHONE button.
For a irst connection, select
SEARCH PHONE and press the dial
to conirm. Then select the name of
the telephone.

There is a difference in
sound quality between
the different audio
sources (radio, CD,
CD changer...). Check that the audio settings (Volume, Bass,
Treble, Ambience, Loudness) are adapted to
the sources listened to. It is advisable to set
the AUDIO functions (Bass, Treble, Front-Rear
Balance, Left-Right Balance) to the middle
position, select the musical ambience "None"
and set the loudness correction to the "Active"
position in CD mode or to the "Inactive" position
in radio mode.
For optimum sound quality, the audio settings (Volu
me, Bass, Treble,
Ambience, Loudness) can be adapted to the different sound sources,
which may result in audible differences when changi ng source (radio, CD,
CD changer...).
The CD is ejected
automatically or is not
played by the player. - Check that the CD is inserted in the player the
right way up.
- Check the condition of the CD: the CD cannot be played if it is too damaged.
- Check the content in the case of a recorded CD: consult the advice in the Audio section.
- The audio equipment's CD player does not play DVDs.
- Due to inadequate quality, certain recorded CDs will not be played by the audio system.
- The CD changer does not play MP3 CDs.
The CD is inserted upside down, is unplayable, does
not contain any audio
data or contains an audio format which the player c annot play.
The CD is protected by an anti-pirating protection system which is not
recognised by the audio equipment.
The CD player sound
is poor. Insert good quality CDs and store them in
suitable conditions.
The CD used is scratched or of poor quality.
The audio equipment settings (bass, treble, ambienc
es) are unsuitable.
Set the treble or bass level to 0, without selectin g
an ambience.

SELECTING A STATION
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select the
RADIO.
Press the BAND button to select a
waveband: FM1, FM2, FMast, AM.
Briely press one of the buttons to
carry out an automatic search of the
radio stations.
Press one of the buttons to carry out a
manual search of the radio stations.
Press the LIST button to display the
list of stations received locally
(60 maximum).
To update this list, press for more than
two seconds. The external environment (hills, buildings, tunnels
, basement car parks, ...) may block reception,
including in RDS mode. This is a normal effect of t he way in which radio waves are transmitted and doe s
not indicate any failure of the audio equipment.
RDS
Select ACTIVATE FREQUENCY
FOLLOWING (RDS) then press OK.
RDS appears on the display.
Select the FM WAVEBAND
PREFERENCES function then
press OK.
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then
press OK.
Press the MENU button.
The RDS, if displayed, enables you to continue list ening to the
same station by means of frequency following. Howev er, in certain
conditions, this RDS station is not followed throug hout the country
as radio stations do not cover 100 % of the territo ry. This explains
the loss of reception of the station during a journ ey.

Select COPY CD/DVD TO JUKEBOX
and press the dial to conirm.
Select COMPLETE CD/DVD to copy
the entire CD/DVD and press the dial
to conirm.
To stop the copy, repeat points 2 and 3.
Select STOP COPY and press the dial
to conirm. The AUTO CREATION tab automatically copies the CD/D
VD by
default into an album of the type "album n°...".
The audio CD or the MP3 CD/DVD is copied onto the h ard disc.
Copying may take up to 20 minutes for a CD and 140 minutes for
a DVD. During this copying phase, it is not possibl e to listen to the
albums previously recorded on the hard disc or the CD/DVD.
Select the letters one by one and select
OK to conirm.
If it is not an MP3 CD, the Jukebox automatically c ompresses
the CD in MP3 format. The compression may take appr oximately
20 minutes depending on the duration of the CD. Dur ing this
compression phase, it is possible to listen to the CD or to albums
previously recorded on the hard disc.
A long press on the SOURCE button starts the copyin g of the CD/DVD.
When copying an MP3 CD/DVD, the Jukebox only retain s the last
album level. It is not possible to copy iles from t he Jukebox to a
CD/DVD.
The STOP THE CD/DVD COPY action does not delete the iles
which have already been transferred onto the jukebo x hard disc.
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then select
CD/DVD and press the dial to conirm.
Insert an audio CD or an MP3
compilation and press the MENU
button.
