Cargo net : Grand C4 Picasso
There are 8 anchoring rings in the boot to enable you
to secure your loads :
-
1 and 2 underneath the luggage-cover blind.
- 3, 4,
7 and 8 on the boot floor.
- 5 and 6 on the boot pillars. Cargo net : C4 Picasso
There are 8 anchoring rings in the boot to enable you
to secure your loads :
-
1, 2, 3 and 4 on the boot floor,
- 5, 6, 7
and 8 on the boot pillars.
The cargo net gives you a number of configurations d epending on which of the anchoring rings you attach it to
(hammock format, vertical / horizontal, on the floor or behind the second row seats), enabling you to s ecure a
variety of objects in the boot.
Note : For reasons of safety in the event of sudden braking, it is re commended that you place heavy objects on
the floor as close as possible to the backrests of the second-row seat s.
Carrier bag hook
A carrier bag hook is available inside the boot on the left hand side.

Luggage-cover blind
Position 1 : (5-seat configuration, behind the secon d row)
Behind the second-row seats, with the third-row seats
folded away.
To install the roller :
1. Compress the left-hand end of the roller and place
it in notch A.
2. Position the right-hand end of the blind roller in
notch B.
3. Unroll the blind until it reaches the boot pillars.
4. insert the guides of the blind into the rails on the
pillars.
To remove the blind:
- Perform these operations in reverse order.
Note : the roller has a moving flap to avoid interference
with the second-row passengers when the seats are i n
the reclined position. Position 2 : (7-seat configuration)
Behind the third-row seats, this position conceals
objects stowed in the boot from outside view.
To install the roller :
1.
Roll up the blind, then remove the roller from its
initial position.
2. Position the roller, with the blind pull bar upper-
most, flap downward.
3. Fold the concertina plates in the vertical position.
4. Engage the lug on the left of the roller in notch C.
5. Pass the right-hand side above the third-row armre st.
6. Engage the lug in notch D.
7. Pull the seat belt(s) so that they will deploy without
locking.
8. Unroll the blind and engage the guides into the
rails on the pillars.
9. Lock the seat(s) in position.
10. Fold back the concertina plates, pressing them
firmly in position.

Position 2 : (continued)
To remove the roller :
1. Push the flap towards the seat backrest.
2. Lift the concertina plate by grabbing it at the side,
then position it vertically.
3.
Unlock the seat by pulling the strap G (see « Third-row
rear seats »).
4. Push the backrest towards the front.
5. Proceed in reverse order to installing.
Note : you can position the concertina plate vertically
to lodge a bulkier object in the boot well.
Position 3 : (7-seat configuration, stowage
position)
To install the roller :
1. Remove the blind from its current position.
2. Position the roller, with the blind pull bar upper-
most, flap downward.
3. Engage the lug on the left of the roller in notch C.
4. Pass the right-hand side above the third-row armre st.
5. Engage the lug in notch D.
To remove the roller :
- Proceed in reverse order to installing.

Net for retaining high loads
This enables you to maximise the vehicle’s load-
space.
it retains objects, preventing them from sliding towards
the front of the passenger compartment.
You insert it under the roller of the luggage-cover
blind, securing it on the third-row side mouldings. Position 1 (5-seat configuration, behind the
second row)
To install the roller :
1.
Remove the protection covers located under the
blind roller notches.
2. Position the roller under that of the luggage-cover
blind.
3. Raise the flap on the blind, positioning it on top of
the blind.
4. deploy the net, passing it between the rollers and
the seats.
5. Pull the net upwards.
6. Anchor it to the roof by means of the fixing points
(after you have removed their covers).
To remove :
- Perform these operations in reverse order.
Position 2 (2-seat configuration, behind the
first row)
To install the roller :
1. With the second-row seats folded away, remove
the covers of the Isofix anchoring points located
on the seat backrests.
2. Secure the roller on the Isofix anchoring points.
3. deploy the net and pull it upwards.
4. Anchor it to the roof by means of the fixing points
(after you have removed their covers).

The rear pneumatic suspension enhances driving
comfort by maintaining a constant body height what-
ever the vehicle load.
OPERATION
- if there is an increase in vehicle load, a sinking of the rear of the vehicle is detected and the pneumatic
springs inflate in order to compensate for the extra
weight.
- if there is an decrease in load, a rising of the rear of the vehicle is detected and so the pneumatic springs
deflate to return the vehicle to its nominal height.
- if the vehicle has been unused for a long period, the pneumatic springs may inflate if necessary when you
unlock or open a door, so as to return the vehicle to
its nominal height. Note
: if you do not reactivate the system manually,
the automatic correction will be activated as soon as
the vehicle starts to move. during the correction, the
SERViCE warning lamp lights up and a message on the
screen reminds you not to exceed 10 km/h (6 mph).
Note : the automatic correction does not function if the
doors or the tailgate are open.
The automatic correction operates even if your vehicle
is in economy mode.
ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION
The automatic correction can be deactivated :
- Press on the button B for approximately two seconds.
-
Release the button when you hear a beep. deactivati on
is confirmed by the lighting of the LED on the butto n B.
it is essential that you should deactivate the system in the following instances :
- working under the vehicle,
- changing a wheel,
- transporting the vehicle on a truck or on a boot.
To reactivate the automatic correction :
- Press again on the button B for approximately
two seconds.
- Release the button when you hear a beep. Activati on is
confirmed by the extinction of the LED on the button B .
In the event of the system malfunctioning, alert
messages, always in association with the SERVICE warning lamp, will display in the instrument panel.

The pneumatic suspension has an additional function
associated with it : the possibility to raise or lower the
height of the rear of the vehicle when stationary, in or-
der to facilitate loading / unloading of the boot.
TO INCREASE THE HEIGHT OF THE BOOT
SILL
- Press continuously at the top of the control
A, which
is located in the boot, on the left-hand side.
This action will be accompanied by a sound signal.
You can stop the movement at any time by releasing
the control.
3 beeps will confirm that the movement has gone as f ar
as it can
.
To return to the nominal height :
- Press briefly twice at the bottom of the control A.
TO DECREASE THE HEIGHT OF THE BOOT SILL
- Press continuously at the bottom of the control A.
This action will be accompanied by a sound signal.
You can stop the movement at any time by releasing
the control.
3 beeps will confirm that the movement has gone as
far as it can.
To return to the nominal height :
- Press briefly twice at the top of the control A.
Note :
- if you start the vehicle without having returned it to the nominal height, the automatic correction will ac-tivate as soon as the vehicle starts to move. during
the correction, the SERViCE warning lamp lights up and a message on the screen reminds you not to ex-
ceed 10 km/h (6 mph).
- The loading assistance does not function in the fo l-
lowing instances:
- if the button B
is lit up,
- in power economy mode.
-
When you first use the function, press for two secon ds on
the control A to initialise the system. All subsequent ac-
tions will be followed immediately by the desired r esults
.
Driving with the boot sill in a low position may damage the components located under the bodyshell.

With the key in Drive position

press on control A to switch the
radio on or off.
Note :
- If the radio was on the last time you switched off the ignition, it
will resume automatically when
you switch on the ignition again.
You will not have to press on
control A.
- After switching off the ignition, you can still operate the audio system
even without the ignition key be-
ing present. Simply press on but-
ton A. The system will turn itself
off after approx. 30 minutes .
Anti-theft system
This radio is coded in such a way
as to function only on your particu-
lar vehicle. It would be unusable if
installed on any other vehicle.
Note :
The anti-theft system is automatic
and requires no action on your
part. Selection of source
To select either Radio, CD (CD
already inserted and Radio source
activated), or CD changer source,
press on control
D.
When you insert a CD it automati-
cally starts being read.
Note :
When the radio is switched off, the
source selected is memorised.
Volume adjustment
Rotate control A to increase or de-
crease the sound volume.
You can also increase or decrease
the volume using buttons 1 and 4
at the steering wheel.
Note :
- The sound volume when you switch off the radio will be the same
when you switch it on again.
- The radio sound volume auto- matically adjusts to the vehicle
speed, provided the “ volume ad-
justment ” function is activated. Temporary sound pause
Press on control
5 at the steering
wheel, or on the MUTE button, to
activate this function.
The sound will be paused, regard-
less of the source selected.
To restore the audio output, press
one of the controls at the steering
wheel.
Sound adjustments
Each press on button F brings up
the parameter to be adjusted :
choice of predefined sound am-
biances, bass, treble, loudness,
fade (front/rear sound distribu-
tion), balance (left/right sound dis-
tribution) and volume adjusted to
vehicle speed.
Press buttons K or N to modify the
values for the function displayed.
Note :
- The selection of a sound ambi- ance automatically adjusts bass
and treble. These can be modified.
To restore the original adjust-
ments for the musical ambi-
ances, reset bass and treble to
zero.
- Adjustment of loudness, as well as bass and treble when they
are available, are specific to
each sound source and to each
musical ambiance.
- If you leave the audio system un-actioned for a few seconds, it
will revert to the normal display.
