IiITMC traffi c information consists of messages transmitted by FM radio stations.As opposed to the road information fl ashes broadcast by radio (TA), TMC (Traffi c Mes-sage Channel) messages are coded and silent. You can fi lter the types of information that interest you.Your Navidrive issues messages written in the selected language (including in a foreign country where your language is not that of the local radio stations).The messages contain:The date and the time of the broadcastthe nature of the incidentthe locationthe namet h e d i r e c t i o n o f t r a f f i c o n t h e a r t e r y concerned.A message is sent when an event occurs. You are again informed of the event when you are coming into proximity. The messages are classed according to the distance of the event from your vehicle.The list of messages is updated every 15 minutes approximately.

Activate or deactivate the reading of new messages by the Navidrive voice.Activate or deactivate the display of new TMC mes-sages (do not select the tab for the regions with dens e traffi c).

CONSULTING OF MESSAGES
The fi lters enable you to select the types of information which you wish to receive.This menu gives you access:To the geographical fi lter: information concerning incidents situated around your vehicle, around a given location and/or on an itinerary (radius of 3 to 200 km),To road information: information con-cerning road incidents such as traf fi c, road closures, height /width limitations, state of the roadway or weather condi-t i o n s (d e p e n d i n g o n t h e i n f o r m a t i o n available).To urban traffi c information: information concerning the town where you are, such as parking, public transport and demon-strations (depending on the information available).The fi lters can be cumulative.If no fi lter is selected, all the TMC information will be displayed.

Selection of a pre- defi ned musical ambiance automatically adjusts bass and treble. Select the musical ambiance “None” to personalise your adjustment of bass and treble.Adjustments of loudness, bass and treble (when they are available) are specifi c to each source.The sound volume is automatically corrected as a function of vehicle speed, provided the facility has been activated.
Press button SoURCE.
Rotate the control or use the buttons at the steering B and C to increase or decrease the volume.
How to stop the sound momentarily ?Press on the Mute button D.The sound of the Audio source currently b e i n g l i s t e n e d t o i s c u t . T h e g u i d a n c e instructions remain activated. To restore sound, press on one of the buttons on your Navidrive, or on one of the controls on the steering wheel.

Press on button D to select:the pre-defi ned musical ambiances,bass,treble,loudness,front /rear and left /right balanceautomatic correction of the volume as a function of vehicle speed.Rotate the control to modify the value of the parameter displayed.The value is automatically taken into account without the need for validation.

Activate or deactivate playback of the start of eac h track of the Cd/Cd MP3.
Activate or deactivate playback of all the tracks of t he Cd or of all the directory of the Jukebox.
Activate or deactivate repetition of the current album or Cd-cover.
Activate or deactivate display of the information on the Cd (Name of the album, artist, etc.).

COPYING A CD ONTO JUKEBOX SOURCE
Copy the whole of a Cd.
Selec t several t rac ks and /or several albums to be copied.
Copy the current track.
Copy the current album (Cd MP3 only).

Move, delete or rename data stored on the hard disc o r from Jukebox source (Albums, titles).
Defi ne a compression rate in MP3.
Re-initialise Jukebox source.

Select titles or albums in order to modify or creat e a Playlist.
Rename a Playlist.
