Fuel tank (60 litres)
Press on control A located on the control panel to the left of the dashboard. The fuel fl ap automati-cally opens up fully.
Insert the nozzle so as to push in the metallic gate valve B.
Push the fuel fl ap to reclose it.
After switching off the ignition, control A is only active for a few Aminutes. If necessary, switch on the ignition again to reactivate it.
Bonnet stay : detach the stay and pivot it upwards to insert it into the notch.
To close : move the stay back to its initial position, lower the bonnet until it is horizontal, then allow it to slam shut.
Bonnet opening/closing
To unlock, pull the control locat-ed under the dashboard towards you.
Opening
Using the multifunction screen, you can choose from the following options when opening your vehi-cle with the remote control :
- either all of the doors and the tailgate,
- or the driver’s door with a fi rst press, then all of the other doors with a second press.

Guide-me-home lighting
A press on button C operates the guide-me-home lighting (lighting of the sidelamps, dipped beams, number plate lamps and side light-ers (located underneath the exte-rior rear view mirrors).
A second press before the end of the timing cancels the guide-me-home lighting.
Vehicle location
To locate the vehicle on a carpark, press button A. The location of the vehicle is revealed by :
- the fl ashing of the direction indi-cators and side repeaters for a few seconds,
- the lighting of the interior lamps for around 30 seconds,
- the lighting of the side lighters.
The vehicle remains locked.
Foldaway and ejection of the key
Button D folds the key in and out of its housing in the remote control.
If you do not press on button D, you could damage the mechanism.
Simultaneous use of other high frequency equipment (mobile tele-phones, domestic alarms, etc.) may interfere temporarily with the opera-tion of the remote control. If it malfunctions on a permanent basis, you must re-initialise the remote control.
Except for re-initialisation, the remote control cannot function while the key is in the ignition, even with the ignition switched off.
Be aware that an inadvertent manipulation of the remote con trol in your pocket could cause the vehicle doors to unlock without your knowl -edge.
However, if no door is opened within thirty seconds following an unlock-ing, the doors will automatically relock.
Warning : there is a risk of damage if the replacement battery is not in conformity.

Remote control battery spent
This information is given by a message on the multifunction screen, accompa-nied by a sound signal and the lighting of the SERVICE warning lamp.
Changing the remote control battery
Detach the housing to access the battery.
Battery : CR 0523, 3V.
Re-initialising the remote control
After a change of battery, it is necessary to re-initialise the remote control. For that, switch on the ignition and immediately press butto n A on your remote control until the action desired is triggered. This manœ uvre may take some ten seconds.
Note : Make a careful note of the numbers for your keys and remote con-trol on the ASSISTANCE card. Keep this in a safe place.
Do not throw away spent batteries. Return them to a CITROËN dealer or to an approved collection point (photo shops, etc.).

Your vehicle may be equipped with an ANTI-INTRUSION ALARM.
This provides :
• Exterior perimeter protection by means of detectors on the vehi-cle access points (doors, boot, bonnet) as well as on the electri-cal supply.
• Interior volumetric protection by means of ultrasonic sensors (detecting movement inside the passenger compartment). This can be deactivated using the control 1.
The installation also has a siren, and a warning lamp on the control 1 which is visible from outside the vehicle, indicating the three pos-sible statuses of the alarm:
• Alarm not active (disarmed), warning lamp off.
• Alarm active (armed), the warn-ing lamp fl ashes slowly.
• Alarm triggered (signalling an intrusion), the warning lamp fl ashes rapidly if the alarm is dis-armed by a press on the control B. It stops as soon as you switch on the ignition.
Note : If there is a malfunction, the warning lamp remains perma-nently on.
DISARMING OF THE ALARM USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The alarm is disarmed when you unlock the vehicle (with a press on button B on the remote control).
DISARMING OF THE ALARM WITH THE KEY
Unlock the doors with the key. The siren triggers. Enter the ve-hicle, insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the drive position to stop the siren. Otherwise the si-ren will continue for approximately 30 seconds.

The sidelamps and dipped beams come on automatically when the ambient light is insuffi cient or if the windscreen wipers are in continu-ous operation.
Pull the control stalk fully towards you to swap between dipped beams and main beams.
EXTERIOR SIDE LIGHTERS
These illuminate :
- the zones facing the driver’s and passenger’s doors,
- the zones forward of the door mirrors and rearward of the front doors.
Illumination / extinction
The side lighters come on :
- when you unlock the vehicle or press on the lighting button on the remote control.
- when you remove the key from the ignition,
- when you open a door,
- when you use the remote control to locate your vehicle.
They are timed to go out automati-cally.
They go out as soon as the light is again suffi cient or approx. 5 minutes after the windscreen wipers have ceased.
To activate this function, place the control A on position 2.
Do not cover the sunlight sen-sor which is located behind the interior rear view mirror and visible from outside the wind-screen.

SLIDING SUN VISORS
Sliding blinds
Sliding blinds are provided for your protection against bright sunlight. They can be adjusted manually.
- Slide the blind on the visor to the desired position by pushing the area A.
Visor struts
The blinds are extended on the sun visor struts.
Fold the visor downwards, to protect against dazzle to the face.
If dazzle is coming from the side windows, detach the vi-sor from its housing above the centre of the windsc reen and pivot it to the side.
PANORAMIC GLASS ROOF BLIND
Opening the roof blind (positions 1 to 9)
- Rotate the control B to slide the roof blind to the posi-tion desired.
Closing the roof blind (position 0)
- Rotate the control B to position 0 to close the roof blind.The blind has an anti-pinch device.
Note :
- A long press on the locking button on the remote control will close the blind (practical when for example you leave your vehicle on a sunlit carpark).- On returning to your vehicle, a short press on the button B repositions the blind to the last position selected.- Following a fault or after a battery disconnectio n during the movement of the blind or after it has stopped, you have to re-initialise the anti-pinch function. Place the blind in the closed position and press for arou nd 2 seconds on button B.
Do not attach or suspend heavy objects on the slide rail of the sun blind, which also incorporates the in-terior rear view mirror.

If you decide to drive with the doors locked, be aware that this will make access more diffi cult for the emergency services in the event of an accident.
Note : the control A is inactive when the vehicle has been locked by means of the remote control or the key
Door selectivity
If you have selected “plip action : driver’s door" in the multifunction screen menu :
- a press on the remote control opens the driver’s door,
- a second press opens all the doors.
Anti-intrusion security
On starting the vehicle, the system automatically locks the doors w hen you have reached a speed of around 10 km/h (6 mph).
Note : Whenever a door is opened, the door will lock again automatically when the vehicle reaches a speed of around 10 km/h (6 mp h).
Activation / Deactivation of the function
After switching on the ignition, give a long press on the ce ntral unlocking control until you see a message displayed and a sound signal is emitted.
Locking from the inside
A press on the control A operates the electric central locking and un-locking, provided the doors and tailgate are closed.
The doors can still be opened from the inside.
If one of the doors is open or not properly closed, the central lock-ing does not operate.
The warning lamp on the control A signals 3 statuses :
- It fl ashes when the doors are locked, with the vehicle stationary and the engine turned off.
- It lights up when the doors are locked, or when the ignition is switched on.
- It goes out if the doors are not locked.

Emergency unlocking of the boot
Should there be a problem with the boot lock, or a battery failure :
- From the interior of the bootspace, face the rear of the vehicle.
- Insert the point of a screwdriver into the aperture Cof the lock.
- Push the white component inside the lock to the left, to unlock the boot.
Manual control (emergency mode)
Should there be an electrical failure it is possible to lock the vehicle’ doors by actioning the control B on each door.
With the door open, insert for example the end of the ignition key into the aperture and turn it.
Close the door.
After a repair, normal functioning resumes by means of the unlocking control A, the remote control or the key used in the driver’s door.
