Fitting

Removal
To remove the mat on the driver's side:
move the seat as far back as possible,
u n c l i p t h e fi x i n g s ,
remove the mat.
Refitting
T o r e fi t t h e m a t o n t h e d r i v e r ' s s i d e :
position the mat correctly,
r e fi t t h e fi x i n g s b y p r e s s i n g ,
check that the mat is secured
correctly. To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
- only use mats which are suited
t o t h e fi x i n g s a l r e a d y p r e s e n t i n
the vehicle; it is imperative that
these are used,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f another.
DOOR POCKETS
Front door
The front door pockets can hold objects
equivalent in volume to a 1.5 litre bottle.
They may have their own lighting,
coming on automatically when your
hand approaches.
This lighting goes out automatically
after a few moments when your
hand is taken away.
Rear door
The rear door pockets can hold objects
equivalent in volume to a 0.5 litre bottle.
USB BOX
This connection box, consisting of
a JACK socket and a USB port, is
located on the centre console.
It permits the connection of portable
equipment, such as a digital audio
player of the iPod ®
or USB stick type.
I t r e a d s t h e a u d i o fi l e f o r m a t s w h i c h
are transmitted to your audio equip-
ment and played via the vehicle's
speakers.
Y o u c a n m a n a g e t h e s e fi l e s u s i n g
the steering wheel controls or the
audio equipment control panel and
display them on the multifunction
screen.
When it is in use, the portable equip-
ment charges automatically.

Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select the radio.
P r e s s t h e B A N D A S T b u t t o n t o s e l e c t a waveband: FM1, FM2, FMast, AM.
B r i e fl y p r e s s o n e o f t h e b u t t o n s t o carry out an automatic search of the radio stations.
Press one of the buttons to carry out a manual search of the radio stations.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to display the list of stations received locally (30 stations maximum). To update this list, press for more than two seconds.
S e l e c t A C T I V A T E F R E Q U E N C Y FOLLOWING (RDS) then press OK. RDS appears on the display.
S e l e c t t h e F M W A V E B A N D PREFERENCES function then press OK.
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then press OK.
Press the MENU button.
FM WAVEBAND PREFERENCES
ACTIVATE FREQUENCY FOLLOWING (RDS)
T h e e x t e r n a l e n v i r o n m e n t ( h i l l s , b u i l d i n g s , t u n n e l s , b a s e m e n t c a r p a r k s ) m a y b l o c k r e c e p t i o n , i n c l u d i n g in RDS mode. This is a normal effect of the way in which radio waves are transmitted and does not indicate any failure of the audio equipment.

T h e R D S , i f d i s p l a y e d , e n a b l e s y o u t o c o n t i n u e l i s t e n i n g t o t h e s a m e s t a t i o n b y m e a n s o f f r e q u e n c y f o l l o w i n g . H o w e v e r , i n c e r t a i n c o n d i t i o n s , t h i s R D S s t a t i o n i s n o t f o l l o w e d t h r o u g h o u t t h e c o u n t r y as radio stations do not cover 100 % of the territory. This explains t h e l o s s o f r e c e p t i o n o f t h e s t a t i o n d u r i n g a j o u r n e y .

O n a s i n g l e d i s c , t h e C D p l a y e r c a n r e a d u p t o 2 5 5 M P 3 fi l e s s p r e a d o v e r 8 d i r e c t o r y l e v e l s . H o w e v e r , i t i s a d v i s a b l e t o k e e p t o a l i m i t o f two levels to reduce the access time before the CD is played. W h i l e t h e C D i s b e i n g p l a y e d , t h e d i r e c t o r y fl o w c h a r t i s n o t f o l l o w e d . A l l o f t h e fi l e s a r e d i s p l a y e d o n a s i n g l e l e v e l .
