Operation indicator lamps

If one of the following indicator lamps comes on in the instrument panel, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.

beam headlamps" position.
Main beam headlamps
fixed. The lighting stalk is pulled towardsyou. Pull the stalk to return to dipped beam headlamps.

Automatic headlamp dipping
fixed.The lighting control stalk is in the
"AUTO" position, pulled towardsyou, and the function is activated (" Driving assistance" menu).
The system is in dipped beam modeas there is sufficient ambient lightand/or the traffic conditions do notallow illumination of main beam.The camera, located in the door mirror, mana
ges the
operation of main beam, depending on the ambient
lighting and driving conditions.

Electric parking brake
fixed. The electric parking brake is applied. Release the electric parking brake to switch off the
warning lamp: with your foot on the brake pedal, brieflypush the electric parking brake control lever.

Diesel engine pre-heating
fixed. The "START/STOP" switch has been pressed (ignition on). Wait until the warning lamp goes off before star ting.
Once it goes off, star ting is immediate, on condition
that you maintain pressure on the brake pedal for anelectronic or automatic gearbox, or the clutch pedal is pressed fully down for a manual gearbox.
The period of illumination of the warning lamp is
determined by the ambient conditions (up to about
thirty seconds in extreme conditions).
If the engine does not star t, switch the ignition off and
then on, wait until the warning lamp goes off again,
then start the engine.
Blind spotsensors fixed. The blind spot monitoring function has been activated. For more information, refer to the correspondingsection.
Park Assist fixed. The Park Assist function has beenactivated. For more information, refer to the correspondingsection.

Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and the display of a message.

Passenger's airbag system
fixed. The control switch, located at the
right hand end of the dashboard is set
to the OFFposition.
The passen
ger's front airbag is deactivated.
Set the control to the "ON"position to activate the passenger's front airbag.
In this case, do not fit a child seat in the rear ward-
facing position.
Dynamic stability control(DSC/ASR)R

fixed. The button, located on the centre console, is pressed. Its indicator lamp is on.
The DSC/ASR is deactivated.
DSC: dynamic stability control.
ASR: anti-slip regulation. Press the button to activate the D
SC/ASR. Its indicator
lamp goes off.
The DSC/ASR system is activated automatically when
the vehicle is started.
If deactivated, the system is reactivated automaticallyfrom around 30 mph (50 km/h).
Stop & Start
fixed. The Stop & Star t has been
deactivated. R
eactivate the function via the " Driving assistance"
menu.

Deactivation of the automatic functions of the electric parkingbrake
fixed. The "automatic application" (onswitching off the engine) and
"automatic release" functions aredeactivated or faulty.
In the event of a fault, illumination of
this warning lamp is accompanied bya message.To reactivate the automatic
functions, refer to the"Electric parking brake" section.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop if
automatic application / release is not possible.
The parking brake can be released manually.
For more information on the electric parking brake,
refer to the corresponding section.
Electric parking brakeflashing.When driving: the electric parking
brake is not fully released.Fully release the parking brake by a quick press on thecontrol lever. If the warning persist, stop as soon as it
is safe to do so.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
When stationary: parking brake applied, the system does guarantee
immobilisation of the vehicle (whenparking on a very steep slope, for example).
Secure the immobilisation of the vehicle by engaginga gear with a manual or electronic gearbox, by placing
the gear selector in positionPwith an automatic gearbox, or by fitting a chock to one of the wheels.
Electric parking brake faultfixed.The electric parking brake has a fault. Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop
without delay.
The parking brake can be released manually.

Reinitialisation of the
electric windows

Deactivating the rear controls for the rear windows

In the event of contact during operationof the windows, you must reverse themovement of the window. To do this,press the switch concerned.
When operating the passenger electricwindow switches, the driver mustensure that nothing is preventingcorrect closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric windows correctly.
Be aware of children when operatingthe windows.
Be aware of passengers or other persons present when closing thewindows using the the electronic key or the "Keyless Entry and Starting" system.
Followin
g reconnection of the battery, the
safety anti-pinch function must be reinitialised.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active
during these operations. For the safety of your children, pressswitch 5to prevent operation of the rear windows irrespective of their positions.
The warnin
g lamp in the button comes on,
accompanied by a message confirmingactivation. It remains on, as long as the childlock is deactivated.
Use of the rear electric windows from thedriver's controls remains possible.F
or each window:
- lower the window completely, then raise it,
it will rise in steps of a few centimetres with each action. Repeat the operation until the
window closes completely,
- continue to
pull the switch for at least one second after reaching this position, windowclosed.

System which registers the electrical settings of the driver's seat and door mirrors. It enables you to store and recall two positions using the buttons on the side of the driver's seat.

mirrors operates with the enginerunning, by switching on the heated rear screen (refer to the "Rear screen
demist-defrost" section).
The objects observed are, in reality,
closer than they appear. Take this into account in order to correctly judge the distance of vehicles approaching from behind.




Folding

From outside: lock the vehicle using the electronic key or the Keyless Entry and Starting system. )
From inside: with the ignition on, pull thecontrol Ain the central position rearwards.
If the mirrors are folded using control A,they will not unfold when the vehicle isunlocked. Pull again on control A.
The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can be deactivated by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.

From outside: unlock the vehicle using the electronic key or the Keyless Entry and Starting system. )
From inside: with the ignition on, pull thecontrol Ain the central position rearwards.
Unfolding
If necessary, it is possible to fold the mirrors manually.

Dual-zone manual air conditioning with temperature regulation
The air conditioning system operates with the engine running.
The temperature at the nozzles and vents
is re
gulated by the system according to the
temperature in the passenger compartment
and the temperature setting.
Press the button for the " Air conditioning"menu to display the system controls page.
Temperature adjustment

Press one of these buttons toreduce (blue) or increase (red)the value.


Air flow adjustment
Press one of these buttons to
increase or decrease the speed of
the air booster fan. The driver and
front passenger can each adjust
the temperature.
The value indicated corresponds to a level of comfor t and not to a temperature in degrees Celsius
or Fahrenheit (depending on the unit selected). A setting of around 21 provides optimumcomfort. Depending on your requirements, a
setting between 18 and 24 is normal.
In addition, it is recommended that a di
fference
between left and right of more than 3 should beavoided. The air
flow symbol (a fan) fills progressivelyaccording to the quantity of air wanted.
By reducing the air flow to minimum, you arestopping ventilation.


Avoid driving too long without ventilation(risk of misting and deterioration of air quality).

Dual-zone digital air conditioning

This air conditioning system operates with the engine running, but the ventilation and its controls
are available with the ignition on.
Operation of the air conditioning and regulation of temperature, air flow and air distribution in the passenger compartment are automatic.
Press the button for the " Air conditioning" menu to display the controls for the air conditioningsystem.
