Starting the engine after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery1. Turn the ignition key.2. Wait approximately 1 minute before operating the starter in order to allow the electronic systems to re-initialise.
After the battery has been disconnected for a lengthy period o f time, it may be necessary to re-initialise the following functions:The anti-pinch on the windows.
The parameters of the multifunction display (date, time, language etc).
The Radio stations.The NaviDrive. See NaviDrive instructions.
Starting the engine with an assisting battery (except V6 HDi engine)
If the battery is discharged, it is possible to use either a separate emergency battery or a battery on another vehicle.A. Dischargedbattery (Under the bonnet).B. Assisting battery.
Check that the assisting battery has suffi cient voltage (12 V).
If you use the battery on another vehicle, stop the engine on the latter. The two vehicles must not come into direct contact with each other.
Connect the cables according to the order indicated in the diagram. Check orderthat the leads are well secured (risk of sparks).
Start the engine of the assisting vehicle. Let the engine run for around 1 minute at a slightly accelerated idle.
Operate the starter on the vehicle being assisted.
It is essential to follow the indicated sequence correctly.

To keep the display clean, it is recommended to wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth (e.g. for spectacles) without any cleaning product added.

IITMC traffi c information consists of messages transmitted by FM radio stations.As opposed to the road information fl ashes broadcast by radio (TA), TMC (Traffi c Mes-sage Channel) messages are coded and silent. You can fi lter the types of information that interest you.Your NaviDrive issues messages written in the selected language (including in a foreign country where your language is not that of the local radio stations).The messages contain:The date and the time of the broadcastthe nature of the incidentthe locationthe namet h e d i r e c t i o n o f t r a f f i c o n t h e a r t e r y concerned.A message is sent when an event occurs. You are again informed of the event when you are coming into proximity. The messages are classed according to the distance of the event from your vehicle.The list of messages is updated every 15 minutes approximately.

The Confi guration menu enables you to programme your NaviDrive as well as certain functions of your vehicle.
WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THE CONFIGURATION MENU ?
CONFIGURING THE DISPLAY OF YOUR NAVIDRIVE
Choose the colour of the display.
Adjust the brightness of the display.
Adjust the date and the time and defi ne the format 12H or 24H.
Choose a feminine voice or a masculine voice and adj ust the voice synthesiser volume.
CONFIGURE THE VOICE OF YOUR NAVI DRIVE
CHOOSE THE LANGUAGE OF THE VOICE SYNTHESISER AND OF THE DISPLAY
Choose system of measurement: metric or imperial.
Activate or deactivate the voice commands.
Activate or deactivate the audio/video auxiliary inpu t.
HOW TO ACCESS THE CONFIGURATION MENU ?
Press button MENU.Rotate the control to select the Confi guration icon .Press on the control to validate.
