NIGHT DRIVINGA fi rst press on the DARK button puts the display on standby. Only the time and the temperature remain displayed.
A second press switches off the display and the instrument panel, except for information concerning:
The speed indicator.The automatic gearbox.Cruise control/Speed limiter if this has been activated.Note:
Temporary lighting of the display for modifi cation of audio-CD adjustments and air conditioning.The display lights up if any of the other buttons on the display is pressed. DRIVING POSITIONSMEMORISED VIABUTTONS 1 AND 2
To memorise a driving position:a. Place the igntion key in "Drive" position (second position).b. Make your adjustments of the seat, the steering wheel, the rear view mirrors and the Head-up Display.c. Press successively on button M then on button 1(fi rst driving position) or 2 (second driving position).
The memorisation is confi rmed by a sound signal.Note: The memorisation of a new driving position cancels and replaces the previous one.
The memorisation function allows to make the following dashboard adjustments:Driver's seat
Steering wheel
Exterior rear view mirrorsHead-up display.

The system has a differentiated adjustment for the driver's side and passenger's side, in terms of temperature and air distribution. The air fl ow is common to both sides.
Symbols and messages relating to the automatic air conditioning controls will display on the multifunction screen.
2. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the temperature, press on button 2a to modify the temperature on the passenger's side and on but-ton 2b to modify it on the driver's side.
An adjustment around 21 will give you the optimum comfort level. However, depending on your preferences anywhere between 18 and 24 is quite usual.
Operating the air conditioning system on "AUTO"guarantees good ventilation inside the cabin.Note: there may be a difference between the actual cabin temperature and the fi gure displayed.
This is the normal operating mode for the system. Depending on the temperature chosen, a press on this button, confi rmed by the lighting of the warning lamp, will automatically and simultaneously bring all the fol-lowing functions into play:Air fl ow.
Cabin temperature.
Air distribution.
Exterior air intake/Air recirculation.
It is recommended to keep all the air vents open. Just by pressing any of the buttons, except for temperature 2a and 2b, you can change to manual mode. the warn-ing lamp goes out. The warning lamp goes off, and the automatic air intake function is deactivated.

3. ADJUSTING THE AIR DISTRIBUTION
Successive or continuous presses on buttons 3a and 3b will direct the fl ow of air to the passenger' side or to the driver's side.
The symbol (arrows) corresponding to the orientation chosen is displayed on the multifunction screen:Windscreen and side windows.
Central, lateral and soft diffusion air conditioning vents (if open).
Passenger footwells."AUTO" automatic distribution.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Activation
When you press button A, the automatic mode automatically and simultaneously controls the air fl ow and air distribution for the rear air conditioning.
The warning lamp on button Alights up.
It is recommended to keep both air vents open.
Deactivation
A press on any of the buttons B, C or D, deactivates the automatic opera-tion of the rear air conditioning.
the warning lamp on button A goes out.
Remark: If the air conditioning in the front of the cabin is stopped (function deactivated in the "Air conditioning" menu or via the con-trol 4 for adjusting the air fl ow), then the rear automatic air condi-tioning is not available.
ADJUSTING THE AIR FLOW
If you press buttons B or D you increase or decrease the fl ow for the rear air conditioning.
The number of diode(s) lit up, composing the symbol for air fl ow (helix, situated between buttons Band D) expresses its power level.
To deactivate the air fl ow and air distribution for the rear air condi-tioning, press successively on but-ton D so that all the diodes go out.
DISTRIBUTION TO FOOTWELLS/HEADS
Successive presses on button Cwill modify the distribution of the air fl ow.
Three directions are available:Passengers' heads.
Passenger footwells.Passengers' heads and footwells.
The arrow lit up indicates the dis-tribution of air chosen manually. In "AUTO" mode, no arrow lights up.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE FLOW OF AIR INTO THE STORAGE UNDER THE FRONT CENTRALARMREST
If you choose a maximum fl ow of air in the rear by pressing Band distribution towards passen-ger's heads by pressing C, having closed the rear air vents, you will obtain a maximum fl ow of air into the storage beneath the armrest.

The programmable heating sys-tem operates independently of the engine.
With the engine off, it is used to preheat the engine cooling system so as to have an optimum engine operating temperature on starting.
The programmable heating sys-tem is started using a long-range remote control. It can be started immediately or programmed to start later.

Remote control
The remote control for the program-mable heating system includes the following buttons and display infor-mation:1. Menu function scroll buttons.2. Function symbols: clock, temperature, operating duration, programmed time, heater operation, heater control.3. Digital display of: time, temperature, operating duration, programmed time or heating level.4. Off button.5. On button.
Information displayed in the remote control screen
Display of functions
Press buttons 1 repeatedly to bring up the functions.
The fi rst press of the right or left button displays the time.
The left button then gives access to the programming time, then the heating level (C1 to C5).
The right button gives access to the cabin temperature, then the operating duration of the heater where the system is to be started immediately.
Information on the cabin tem-perature is only available with the engine off.

Set the duration using buttons 1(adjustment in steps of 10 mins up to a maximum of 30 mins).
Press buttons 4 and 5 simultane-ously to store the duration setting.
This symbol is displayed (constant).
The factory setting is 30 minutes.

Programming the heaterActivation - deactivation Stopping the heater
You should programme your depar-ture time so that the system can automatically calculate the opti-mum start time for the heater.
Programming your departure time
The "HTM" symbol stays on.

Press buttons 1 to display the pro-gramme time.
This symbol is displayed.
After displaying the programme time, within 10 seconds press but-tons 4 and 5 simultaneously.
This symbol fl ashes.
Adjust the time by pressing buttons 1 and press buttons 4 and 5 simul-taneously to store the setting.
This symbol is displayed (constant).
When the signal has been received, the "OK" mes-sage is displayed together with the "HTM" symbol.
This symbol is displayed when the heater starts.
After displaying the programme time using buttons 1, press but-ton 5 (ON) until the "OK" message appears.
HTM: Heat Thermo Management (heater control system).
To cancel a programme, press button 5 (OFF) until the "OK"message appears
The "HTM" symbol goes off.
If the "FAIL" message appears dur-ing these operations, this indicates that the signal was not received.
Go to a different location and then repeat the procedure.
Press button 5 (ON).
Modifi cation of the heating level
The system offers 5 levels of heat-ing (C1, the lowest level, to C5, the highest level).
After displaying the heating level using buttons 1, press buttons 4 and 5 simultaneously.
The letter "C" fl ashes.
Adjust the level of heating using buttons 1.
Press buttons 4 and 5 simultane-ously to store the level setting cho-sen. The letter "C" is displayed (constant).
The factory settings are replaced by the new values entered. The times programmed are memorised until the next modifi cation.
When the departure time is acti-vated, it is not possible to modify the heating level. The departure time should fi rst be deactivated.

Front
INTERIOR LAMPS
1. Interior lamps
A press on button 1 of the front interior lamp, switches the interior lamps on or off.
Switching on and off is progressive after an action on the remote con-trol, but immediate after a press on button 1.
Rear
2. Spotlamps
A press on one of the buttons 2switches the corresponding spot-lamp on or off.
These only work when the ignition is switched on.
Automatic lighting of the interior lampsThey come on when you remove the ignition key, unlock the vehicle or open a door.
They go out progressively when the doors are closed, the vehicle locked or the ignition switched on.
Deactivation/Activation of automatic lighting
A long press on button 1, deacti-vates the operaton of the inerior lamps. To reactivate them, press on the same button.
Changing bulbsTo change a front interior lamp bulb: Detach the transparent screen. Use a bulb W 5 W.
To change a rear interior lamp bulb: Detach the two surrounds of the transparent screen and pull it away. Use a bulb W 5 W.
