FUSEBOXES
There are two fuseboxes under the dashboard, one in the engine compartment and another in the boot under the left hand wing trim.

To access the fuses under the dashboard, open the glovebox and then detach the stowage cover.

REPLACING A FUSE
Before replacing a fuse, you should ascertain the cause of the fault and have it remedied. The numbers of the fuses are indicated on the fusebox.
Replace the fuse that has blown with one of the same rating (same colour).
Use the special pliers A placed on the fl ap close to the fuseboxes. The fl ap also has spare fuses available.

If you are climbing a steep gradient and the engine gets excessively hot, certain functions become una-vailable (e.g. sequential control of the automatic gearbox, the air con-ditioning).
If you are towing, it is necessary to deactivate the parking assistance by pressing the control on the dash-board. See "Parking assistance".
It is recommended that you remove the towing ball, so that it does not interfere with the functioning of the proximity sensors, when you are not using a trailer.
MAINTENANCE
If cleaning the vehicle with a high pressure system:Your Piloted Defl ector has to be closed.
It is not advisable to clean the underside of the vehicle, for fear of damaging the electric parking brake.As water may penetrate into the vehicle interior via the door apertures, do not target these areas.
Do not direct at the headlamps, lamps and their edges for too long or you may damage their coating and seals.

TOWING WITH WHEELS ON THE GROUND
Towing eyes can be used at the front and at the rear of the vehicle.
Detach the cover:For the front cover, lever with a screwdriver at the top of the cover.
For the rear cover, press on the right hand side.
The ignition key must be in position M to retain steering.
Use a bar with attachments to the towing eyes as above.
The towing eye is removable, to be stowed in the jack protect ion box inside the spare wheel.

* For a vehicle that is towing, the speed must not exceed 62 mph (100 km/h).
Gross trailer weight (with brakes) can be increased up to:(1) 1 700 kg.
Provided you reduce the vehicle weight so as not to exceed gross train weight.
