version and the configuration of your vehicle.
The individual seat is fitted with a three-point
inertia reel seat belt.It can be placed facing forward or facing
rearward . If there is an individual rearward-facing
seat in row 2, ensure that the seat in
row 1
(driver or passenger) is not too far
back, in order to avoid contact between
the two seats.
This could cause significant wear of the
parts in contact.

On the passenger side, do not forget to
fold the "aircraft" type table before placing
the seat in the table position.
Do not place hard or heavy objects on
the table. They could become dangerous
projectiles in the event of emergency
braking or impact.
For more information on the Front seats
and, in particular, the "table" position for
the backrest, refer to the corresponding
section.
12 V accessory socket(s)

The connection of an electrical device
not approved by CITROËN, such as a
USB charger, may adversely affect the
operation of vehicle electrical systems,
causing faults such as poor telephone
reception or inter ference with displays in
the screens.
USB port
It allows the connection of a portable device,
such as a iPod® type digital audio player or a
USB memory stick.
It reads the audio files which are sent to your
audio system and played via the vehicle's
speakers.
You can manage these files using the steering
mounted controls or the audio system.

Advice
In order for these systems to be fully effective,
follow the operation and maintenance
guidelines below:
F
T
o ensure that the air is distributed evenly,
keep the external air intake grilles at the
base of the windscreen, the nozzles, the
vents, the air outlets and the air extractor
located in the rear free from obstructions.
F
D
o not cover the sunshine sensor, located
at the top of the windscreen; this is used
for regulation of the air conditioning
system.
F
O
perate the air conditioning system for
at least 5
to 10 minutes, once or twice a
month to keep it in per fect working order.
F
T
o prevent misting or deteriorating air
quality inside the passenger compartment,
you should not deactivate the system for
too long and avoid extended operation of
the air recycling system when driving.
F
E
nsure that the passenger compartment
filter is in good condition and have the
filter elements replaced regularly.
We recommend the use of a combined
passenger compartment filter. Thanks to
its special active additive, it contributes
to the purification of the air breathed by
the occupants and the cleanliness of the
passenger compartment (reduction of allergic
symptoms, bad odours and greasy deposits). If after an extended stop in sunshine,
the interior temperature is very
high, first ventilate the passenger
compartment for a few moments.
Put the air flow control at a setting high
enough to quickly change the air in the
passenger compartment.
The air conditioning system does not
contain chlorine and does not present
any danger to the ozone layer.
The condensation created by the air
conditioning results in a discharge of
water under the vehicle which is per fectly
normal.
Stop & Star t
The heating and air conditioning systems
only work when the engine is running.
To maintain a comfortable temperature
in the passenger compartment, you can
temporarily deactivate the Stop & Start
system.
For more information on Stop & Star t ,
refer to the corresponding section.
F T
o ensure correct operation of the air
conditioning system, you are also advised
to have it checked regularly according
to the Maintenance and Warranty Guide
recommendations.
F
I
f the system does not produce cold air,
switch it off and contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.
When towing the maximum load on a steep
gradient in high temperatures, switching off the
air conditioning increases the available engine
power and so improves the towing ability.
Vents
To close the vent, move the control outwards.
You may feel slight resistance.

Courtesy lamps
Front
Rear
Automatic operation
The front courtesy lamp comes on when the
key is removed from the ignition switch.Front: comes on when one of
the front or rear doors is opened

on equipment, the left-hand side-
hinged door or the tailgate).
Permanently on, ignition on.
Row 2 and row 3: comes on
when one of the rear doors or the
boot is opened (sliding side door
and depending on equipment,
the left-hand side-hinged door or

Permanently off.
Individual reading lamp
Take care not to put anything in contact
with the courtesy lamps.
All of the courtesy lamps come on when
the vehicle is unlocked, when one of the
corresponding doors is opened and for location
of the vehicle using the remote control.
They go off gradually after the ignition is
switched on and when the vehicle is locked.
If fitted to the vehicle, these are
operated by means of a manual
switch.
With the ignition on, operate the
corresponding switch.
