Monochrome screen A
This displays the following information:
- time,
- date,
- ambient temperature
(this flashes if there isa risk of ice),
- status of the doors and boot,
- audio sources (radio, CD...),
- trip computer (refer to the "Instruments andcontrols" section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission control
system faulty") or information messages (e.g.: "Boot open") may appear temporarily.
These can be cleared by pressing the "Back"button.

Main menu

Languages
Once the "Languages" menu has been selected,
you can change the language used by the display
(Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues,
Portugues-Brasil, Deutsch, English, Espanol).

Units
Once the "Units" menu has been selected, you can change the units of the followingparameters:


- temperature (°C or °F),

- fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).

Once the fuel consumption units have
been set to mpg, the information in the instrument panel screen on speed anddistance will also be in mph and miles.

For safety reasons, configuration by the driver of the multifunction screen mustonly be done when stationary.
Display settings
Once the "Display settings" menu has been selected, you can gain access to the following settings:- year,
- month,

Once this menu has been selected, you can
activate or deactivate the following equipment:


- wiper linked to reverse gear (refer to the
"Visibility"),

- guide-me-home lighting and duration (see
"Visibility"),

- parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section). Example: settin

Digital air conditioning
The air conditioning operates when the engine is running, as well as in STOP mode with Stop & Start.


Automatic operation


1. Automatic "comfort" programme
Press the "AUTO"button.The "AUTO"
symbol is displayed. We recommend that you use
this mode. It provides optimisedautomatic control of all of the following functions: passenger compar tment
temperature, air flow, air distribution and air
intake, in accordance with the comfort value
that
you have chosen.
This system is designed to operate effectivelyin all seasons, with the windows closed.
For your comfor t, when the engine isswitched off, the settings are retained until the engine is switched on again. To prevent too great a distribution of cold air when the engine is cold, the air flow will only reach its optimum level gradually.
2. Temperature adjustment
The value indicated on the display corresponds
to a level of comfor t and not to a temperature in
de
grees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior is very cold or hot, there is no need tochange the value displayed in order to reach the required level of comfort. The system corrects the temperature difference automatically and as quickly as possible.

buttons tochange this value. A setting around
the value 21enables optimum comfor t to be obtained. However,
depending on your requirements, asetting between 18 and 24 is usual.

3. Automatic "visibility" programme
The automatic comfor t programmemay not be sufficient for rapid
demisting or defrosting of the
windscreen and side windows(humidity, several passengers, ice, etc.).
In this case, select the automatic visibility
programme. The button 3indicator lamp comes on.
The system automatically controls the air conditioning and the flow of air and provides optimum air distribution to the windscreen andside windows. It deactivates air recirculation 5.
To exit this programme, press button 3again or "AUTO"
, the indicator lamp on the button goes off and "AUTO"
is displayed.
With Stop & Start, when demisting has been activated, the STOP mode is notavailable.

Access
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metalswhich are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collectionpoint.
Lost keys

Go to a CITROËN dealer with the vehicle's registration document, your personalidentification documents and if possible the key code label.
The CITROËN dealer will be able to look up the key code and the transponder coderequired to order a new key.


Remote control

The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not operate it while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it may unlock the vehicle, without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it from working and the remote control would have to be reinitialised.
No remote control can operate when the key is in the ignition switch, even when the ignition is switched off, except for reinitialisation.


Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compar tment by the emergency ser vices more difficult in an emergency. As a safety precaution, never leave children alone in the vehicle, except for a very short period.
In all cases, it is essential to remove the key from the ignition switch when leaving the vehicle.


Anti-theft protection

Do not make any modifications to the electronic engine immobiliser system; this couldcause malfunctions.


When purchasing a second-hand vehicle

Have the pairing of all of the keys in your possession checked by a CITROËN dealer, to ensure that only your keys can be used to open and star t the vehicle.

)Turn thumb wheel 1to the "LIMIT"position: the speed limiter mode is
selected but is not switched on (PAUSE).You do not have to switch the speed limiter on
in order to set the speed. )Set the speed value by pressing button 2 or 3 (e.g.: 55 mph (90 km/h)).


Programming
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2and 3:


- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,

- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,

- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press. )Switch the speed limiter on by pressing button 4
. )Switch the speed limiter off by pressing button 4
: the display confirms that it has been switched off (PAUS E).)Switch the speed limiter back on by pressing button 4again.



Exceeding the programmed speed

Pressing the accelerator pedal to exceed the programmed speed will not have
any effect unless you press the pedal firmlypast the ypoint of resistance. The speed limiter is deactivated temporarily and the programmed speed,
which is still displayed, flashes.
Returning to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional
deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the programmed speed.

On a steep descent or in the event of sharp acceleration, the speed limiter will not be able to prevent the vehicle fromexceeding the programmed speed.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals:



- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- do not fit one mat on top of another.




Leaving limiter mode
)
Turn thumb wheel 1
to the "0"
position:
the speed limiter mode is deselected. The
display returns to the distance recorder.

Operating fault

In the event of a speed limiter fault, the speed
is cleared resulting in flashing of the dashes.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

)Turn thumb wheel 1to the "CRUISE"position: the cruise control mode isselected but is not switched on (PAUSE). )Set the programmed speed byaccelerating to the required speed, thenpress button 2 or 3 (e.g.: 70 mph(11 0 k m / h)).

You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2and 3:

- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,

- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,

- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press. )Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4: the screenconfirms that it has been switched off (PAUS E).
)Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4
again.



Exceeding the programmed speed

Intentional or unintentional exceeding of the programmed speed results in flashing of this speed in the screen.
Return to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional
deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the speed.


Leaving cruise control mode
)Turn thumb wheel 1to the "0"position: the cruise control mode is
deselected. The display returns to the distance recorder.



Operating fault

In the event of a cruise control malfunction,
the speed is cleared resulting in flashing of the
dashes. Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

When the cruise control is switched on,be careful if you maintain the pressure on one of the programmed speedchanging buttons: this may result in avery rapid change in the speed of your vehicle. Do not use the cruise control on slippery roads or in heavy traffic. On a steep descent, the cruise control will not be able to prevent the vehicle from exceeding the programmedspeed.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals:


- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- never fit one mat on top of another.
