Practical information





Towing the vehicle
Procedure for having your vehicle towed or for towing another vehicle using a removable towing eye.

The towing eye is installed in the boot under
the floor.
To
gain access to it: )open the boot, )raise the floor,)secure it by hooking its cord on the hook on
the rear parcel shelf suppor t,
)remove the towing eye from the holder.

General
recommendations
Obser ve the legislation in force in your country. Ensure that the weight of the towing vehicle is higher than that of the towedvehicle.The driver must stay at the wheel of thetowed vehicle. Driving on motorways and fast roads is prohibited when towing.When towing a vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved towing bar; rope and straps are prohibited. When towing a vehicle with the engine off, there is no longer any power assistance for braking or steering.

In the following cases, you must always callon a professional recovery service:


- vehicle broken down on a motor way or fast road,

- when it is not possible to put the gearbox into neutral, unlock the steering, or releasethe parking brake,

- towing with only two wheels on the ground,

- where there is no approved towing bar available...

)On the front bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom. )Screw the towing eye in fully. )Install the towing bar.
)On the rear bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom. )Screw the towing eye in fully. )Install the towing bar. )Switch on the hazard warning lamps on both vehicles.)Move off gently, drive slowly and for a shor t distance.

)Place the gear lever in neutral (position Non the electronic gearbox system or automatic gearbox). Failure to observe this instructioncould result in damage to certain components (braking, transmission...) and the absence of braking assistance the next time the engine is started.

Installation of radio communication transmitters

Before installing any after-market radiocommunication transmitter, you can contact a CITROËN dealer for the specification of transmitters which can
be fitted (frequency, maximum power, aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).



The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not recommended by CITROËN may resultin a failure of your vehicle's electronicsystem and excessive electricalconsumption.
Please note this precaution.You are advised to contact a CITROËNrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.


Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.

Select " Directory of contacts" thenconfi rm.
Dial the telephone number using the
virtual keypad selecting each number in turn.
Confi rm " OK
" to make the call.

Press TELor twice on PHONE.


CALLING A NEW NUMBER CALLING A CONTACT
Select the desired contact and confi rm.

access was via the PHONEbutton, select "Call" and confi rm.
Select the number and confi rm to start
the call.

Select " DTMF ring tones
" to use thenumerical keypad, so as to navigate
through the menu of an interactive vocal server.

Select " Hang up " to end the call.

SELECTING A STATION
The external environment (hill, building, tunnel, underground car park...) may interfere with the reception, including in RDS station tracking mode. This phenomenon
is a normal result of the way in which radio waves are transmitted and does not in any way indicate a fault with the audio system.

PRESETTING A STATION


After selecting a station, press one of
the buttons on the numerical keypad for 2 seconds to preset the current station.
An audible si
gnal confi rms that thestation has been preset. The qualit
y of reception is represented by the number of active waves in this symbol.
