Tools
The wheelbraceis clipped into
the cover of the stowage area
located under the floor behind one
of the front seats.
The jack and its handle are located
in a protective holder in the spare
wheel under the boot floor.
Pull it upwards to release.
The anti- theft wheel bolt sockets
are stowed in the glovebox.
Access to the spare wheel
The wheel carrier retaining bolt is
situated under the boot carpet near
the tailgate catch.
Unscrew the retaining bolt using
the end of the wheel brace.
Lift the carrier to disengage the
hook, and lower the carrier.
Never get underneath the
vehicle if it is supported on- ly by the jack. Removal
1 - Park the vehicle on stable, firm ground. Apply the handbra
ke.Switch off
the ignition and engage first gear or reverse gear, dependin g on any
slope (for vehicles with automatic gearbox, select positio n P).
Place the chock (1), integrated in the protective holder, be hind the
wheel diagonally opposite that being changed. See the label in-
side the cover of the chock protective holder.
2 - Position the jack at one of the four jacking points on the un derside of the
vehicle adjacent to the wheels. Using the wheel brace, exten d the jack
until it touches the ground
3 - To remove the embellisher, pull on one of the holes in the em bellisher us-
ing the end of the wheel brace.
4 - Loosen the wheel bolts using the wheel brace.
5 - Extend the jack until the wheel is a few centimetres off the ground.
6 - Unscrewing the wheel bolts and remove the wheel.

Remove the embellisher conceal-
ing the four wheel bolts, using the
curved end of tool2contained in
the protection box to be found in-
side the spare wheel.
Anti- theft bolts
Each wheel has one anti-theft bolt.
To remove this bolt, use one of the
two anti-theft sockets (given to you
at the time of delivery of your vehi-
cle along with duplicate keys and
confidential card) and the wheel-
brace.
Note: take care to note down the
code number engraved on the
head of the anti- theft bolt socket. It
will enable you to obtain a duplicate
anti-theft bolt socket from a
CITROËN dealer.
Spare wheel
Your vehicle is equipped with a
steel spare wheel: when fitting it, it
is normal to observe that the base
of the wheel bolt does not come to
bear on the wheel rim.
The spare wheel is secured by the
conical tapering on the shaft of
each wheel bolt.
When refitting the original wheel,
ensure that the bases of the wheel
bolts are in a clean condition. To refit
1 - Fit the wheel onto the hub, making sure that it is correctly
positioned.
2 - Screw in the bolts but do not fully tighten them.
3 - Lower the jack and remove it.
4 - Using the wheel brace, fully tighten the wheel bolts,.
5 - Refit the wheel embellisher, aligning the tyre valve aper ture with the valve,
then pressing it home around its circumference.
6 - As soon as possible, have the tyre repaired and the origina l wheel refit-
ted.
7 - Make sure the tyre is inflated to the correct pressure (see “Vehicle identifi-
cation” and “User precautions”). Have the wheel balanced.

Replacing the spare wheel in the carrier
Replace the jack and its handle in the protective
holder in the spare wheel and slide them into
the carrier.
Lift the carrier up to the safety catch.
Retighten the bolt from inside the boot.
Return the wheelbrace to the stowage area.
Advice
The wheel bolts are specific to the type of wheel fitted (allo y or steel).
If the type of wheel is changed, check with your CITROËN deale r that the wheel bolts are compatible.
The jack is designed specifically for your vehicle, do not use it for other applications.

Towing with all wheels on the
ground
Rings, concealed by covers, are
positioned at the front and at the
rear of the vehicle.
The ignition key should be in po-
sition “A” to maintain steering.
Use a bar that can be attached to
the rings.
Advice:
In exceptional circumstances, it is
permitted to tow the vehicle at low
speed over a short distance (in
accordance with the local legisla-
tion in force).
In all other cases, the vehicle
must be transported by a trans-
porter.
CAUTION - TOWING A VEHICLE
WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMIS-
SION
Put the selector lever in position N (neutral). Towing with the front or rear wheels lifted
Use special towing equipment with a rigid bar and straps.
Attach the hooks to each of the suspension arms.
Take the necessary precautions to protect the bumper and the
front or rear of
the vehicle.
NEVER TOW THE VEHICLE WITH THE FRONT OR REAR ENDS LIFTED
AND THE WHEELS HANGING FREE.
If the engine is not running, the steering and braking system s
will not be power- assisted.
If towing another vehicle, the latter should be free-wheeli ng
(that is, gearbox in neutral).

Chassis number plate
It is located at the base of the central pillar on the
right hand side of the vehicle.
1:EU type approval number.
2: Vehicle Identification N°. (VIN).
3: Gross vehicle weight.
4: Gross train weight.
5: Maximum weight on front axle.
6: Maximum weight on rear axle.
Colour code
The colour reference is indicated on the back of the fuse box c over.
Tyre pressures
The tyre pressure label is to be found on the front door pillar .
All original CITROËN replacement parts are available from C ITROËN. It is in the user’s interest, for his safety and for the
sake of the warranty, to reject all other parts. Fitting part s or units not supplied by CITROËN may even result in violatio n
of the law, if it involves non- compliance with regulations c oncerning safety, pollution control, interference suppression
and the noise level of the vehicle. Fitting such parts or unit s could also deprive the user of any recourse against the
maker.
This applies in particular to:
- braking equipment components,
- lighting and signalling equipment,
- engine equipment,
- the exhaust system,
- steering system, structural and suspension parts.

Introduction
The On-board Navigation system guides you to the destination of your choice, by means of voice messages and visual instructions.
The system uses a cartographic database and GPS satellite guidance, the latter enabling your position to be plotted by means of several satellites.On-board Navigation comprises the following components:
- the remote control,
- the control panel display,
- the electronic control unit,
- the CD Rom,
- the last voice message recall command,
- the satellite receiver aerial.
Speci c functions or services may vary depending on the CD ROM version or on the country where the system is to be used.
For safety reasons, drivers are recommended not to use the remote control when the vehicle is moving, but to park safely and legally before modifying parame-ters or inputting data.
The system may be affected by disturbance or interruption in certain conditions (for example under bridges or in underground car parks, etc.).

When pointed towards the right hand screen, the remote control allows you to select the information contained in the different displays.
