that the torque converter is positively engaged. measure the distance A between the converter housing to engine mJting fJce and the end of the $llIb ShilfL This should be al leilsl 10 mm (0.4 in) (Fig. 633). Adjust the selector cilble i1nd inhlbilOr switch i1S deSCribed later ill this Chapter.
