The side parking sensors are in the frontand rear bumpers.
SIDE PARKING AID AUDIBLEWARNINGS
When the side parking aid detects anobject within the coverage area and thedriving path of your vehicle, an audiblewarning sounds. As your vehicle movescloser to the object, the rate of the toneincreases.
PARKING AID INDICATORS
The system provides object distanceindication through the information display.
•As the distance to the objectdecreases, the indicator blocksilluminate and move toward the vehicleicon.
•If there is no object detected, thedistance indicator blocks are grey.
Visual indication remains on when thetransmission is in reverse (R). When youstop your vehicle, visual indication turnsoff after four seconds.
If the parking aids are not available, theside distance indicator blocks do notdisplay.

PARKING AIDS – INFORMATIONMESSAGES
If a fault is present in the parking aids, awarning message appears in theinstrument cluster or the touchscreen.
Note:When the front or rear park aidpresents a fault message, the side parkingaid also disables.
Note:Depending on your vehicle type, thisfeature could include a light on the parkingaid button that momentarily flashes toindicate a system fault. The light remainson until you resolve the concern.

The system detects a condition thatrequires service. Have your vehicle checkedas soon as possible.
Park Aid Fault
Inclement weather, ice, mud, or water isblocking the sensor, causing the system tobecome unavailable. You can typicallyclean the sensor to resolve.

CAMERA
The rear view camera provides a videoimage of the area behind your vehicle whenthe transmission is in reverse (R).
The rear view camera button ison the instrument panel.

PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: The rear view camerasystem is a reverse aid supplementdevice that still requires the driver to useit in conjunction with the interior andexterior mirrors for maximum coverage.
WARNING: Objects that are closeto either corner of the bumper or underthe bumper, might not be seen on thescreen due to the limited coverage of thecamera system.
WARNING: Reverse your vehicleslowly. Failure to follow this instructioncould result in the loss of control of yourvehicle, personal injury or death.
WARNING: Use caution when therear cargo door is ajar. If the rear cargodoor is ajar, the camera will be out ofposition and the video image could beincorrect. All guide lines disappear whenthe rear cargo door is ajar. Failure tofollow this instruction could result inpersonal injury.
WARNING: Do not switch thecamera features on or off when yourvehicle is moving.
Note: When towing, the camera only seeswhat you are towing. This might not provideadequate coverage and you might not seesome objects. In some vehicles, the guidelines may disappear when you connect thetrailer tow connector.

Active guide lines only show with fixedguide lines. To use active guide lines, turnthe steering wheel to point the guide linestoward an intended path. If the steeringwheel position changes while reversing,your vehicle might deviate from theintended path.
The fixed and active guide lines fade in andout depending on the steering wheelposition. The active guide lines do notdisplay when the steering wheel positionis straight.
Use caution while reversing. Objects in thered zone are closest to your vehicle andobjects in the green zone are farther away.Objects get closer to your vehicle as theymove from the green zone to the yellow orred zones. Use the side view mirrors andrear view mirror to get better coverage onboth sides and rear of your vehicle.
Note:Active guide lines and fixed guidelines are only available when thetransmission is in reverse (R).
Note:The centerline is only available if theactive or fixed guide lines are on.
Note:Not all camera modes work properlywithout an auxiliary camera.

SETTINGS
ZOOMING THE REAR VIEWCAMERA IN AND OUT
WARNING: When manual zoom ison, the full area behind your vehicle maynot show. Be aware of your surroundingswhen using the manual zoom feature.
Selectable settings for this feature arezoom in (+) and zoom out (-). Press thesymbol on the camera screen to changethe view. The default setting is zoom off.
This allows you to get a closer view of anobject behind your vehicle. The zoomedimage keeps the bumper in the image toprovide a reference. The zoom is onlyactive while the transmission is in reverse(R).

Note:Zooming in also engages park holdwhich applies the electric park brake whenyou shift to park (P). When you press thezoom button, the electronic park holdbutton illuminates on the touchscreen. SeeConnecting a Trailer (page 414).
Note:Manual zoom is only available whenthe transmission is in reverse (R).
Note:Only the centerline shows when youenable manual zoom.
SWITCHING REAR VIEW CAMERADELAY ON AND OFF
1.Press Features on the touchscreen.
2.Press Driver Assistance.
3.Press Rear View Camera.
4.Switch Rear View Camera Delay on oroff.
When shifting the transmission out ofreverse (R) and into any gear other thanpark (P), the camera image remains in thedisplay until:
•Your vehicle speed reachesapproximately 5 mph (8 km/h).
•You shift your vehicle into park (P).

WHAT IS THE 360 DEGREE
CAMERA
The 360 degree camera system consistsof front, side and rear cameras whichprovide visibility around your vehicle.
HOW DOES THE 360 DEGREE
CAMERA WORK
The 360 Degree Camera system:
•Allows you to see what is directly infront of or behind your vehicle.
•Provides a cross traffic view in front ofand behind your vehicle.
•Allows you to see a top-down view ofthe area outside your vehicle, includingthe blind spots and obstacles near yourvehicle.

WARNING: The 360 degreecamera system still requires the driverto use it in conjunction with looking outof the windows, and checking the interiorand exterior mirrors for maximumcoverage.

Cargo Bed Camera
Rear View Camera
The rear view camera is on the tailgate. Itprovides a video image of the area behindyour vehicle.
Front View Camera
The front view camera is in the grille. Itprovides a video image of the area in frontof your vehicle.
Side View Camera
The side view camera is on the outsidemirror. It provides a video image of the areaon the sides of your vehicle to aid you whenparking or when backing up a trailer.

Bed Camera
The bed camera is mounted within thehigh-mount stop lamp. It displays thecontents of your truck bed. The cameracontains a dynamic guideline to help locatethe center of your vehicle. This view canbe accessed while in drive (D) or reverse(R).
Auxiliary Camera
The auxiliary camera is a variant of the rearview camera and is accessed by pressingthe AUX button on the display screen whenmoving in reverse (R) or in drive (D). Itdisplays a rear view image from the backof a trailer while in reverse.

Cargo Bed Camera
Rear View Camera
The rear view camera is on the tailgate. Itprovides a video image of the area behindyour vehicle.
Front View Camera
The front view camera is in the grille. Itprovides a video image of the area in frontof your vehicle.
Note:The front camera switches on whenyou are in mud/ruts, deep snow/sand, rockcrawl, baja mode or in four-wheel drive low.
Side View Camera
The side view camera is on the outsidemirror. It provides a video image of the areaon the sides of your vehicle to aid you whenparking or when backing up a trailer.
Bed Camera
The bed camera is in the high-mount stoplamp. It displays the contents of your truckbed. The camera contains a dynamicguideline to help locate the center of yourvehicle. You can access this view while indrive (D) or reverse (R).
Auxiliary Camera
The auxiliary camera is a variant of the rearview camera and you can access theauxiliary view by pressing the AUX buttonon the display screen when moving inreverse (R) or in drive (D). It displays a rearview image from the back of a trailer whilein reverse.

Keep Out Zone
The keep out zone is represented by theyellow dotted lines running parallel to yourvehicle.

SWITCHING THE 360 DEGREECAMERA ON AND OFF
The 360 degree camera systembutton is on the instrumentpanel. The front and rearcameras have multiple screens whichconsist of:
•Normal view.
•Normal view with 360.
•Split view.
•Bed camera.

Note:The rear view camera activates whenyou switch into reverse (R). Additional viewsare then accessible on the touchscreen.
When in park (P), neutral (N) or drive (D),the front images display when the buttonis pressed. When in reverse (R), only therear images display when the button ispressed.
Note:Not all cameras are available.
Note:The 360 degree camera system turnsoff when your vehicle is in motion at lowspeed, except when in reverse (R).

Bed camera shows the truckbed.
Trailer AUX camera shows a rearview camera image of what isbehind your trailer. This cameraneeds to be purchased and installedseparately.
The hitch view provides animage of the area around thetow hitch.
Trailer reverse guidance showsthe sides of your truck and trailer.See Trailer Reverse Guidance(page 454).

WHAT IS ACTIVE PARK
ASSIST
Assists you with parking in and out ofparking spaces.
HOW DOES ACTIVE PARK
ASSIST WORK
Active park assist uses sensors to detectparking spaces. The system steers,accelerates, brakes and shifts gears asnecessary to maneuver into or out of aparking space.

WARNING: You must remain inyour vehicle when the system turns on.At all times, you are responsible forcontrolling your vehicle, supervising thesystem and intervening, if required.Failure to take care may result in the lossof control of your vehicle, seriouspersonal injury or death.
WARNING: The sensors may notdetect objects in heavy rain or otherconditions that cause interference.
WARNING: You are responsible forcontrolling your vehicle at all times. Thesystem is designed to be an aid and doesnot relieve you of your responsibility todrive with due care and attention. Failureto follow this instruction could result inthe loss of control of your vehicle,personal injury or death.
WARNING: Do not use the systemwith accessories that extend beyond thefront or rear of your vehicle, for examplea trailer hitch or bike rack. The system isnot able to make corrections for theadditional length of the accessories.
SWITCHING ACTIVE PARK
ASSIST ON AND OFF
Press the parking aid button,then press the active park assisticon on the touchscreen to bringup full screen notifications.
Press the soft keys on the touchscreen toswitch between the parallel park in,perpendicular park in, or parallel park outparking modes.
Cancelling Active Park Assist
To cancel parking assistance at any time,shift out of neutral (N).
Pausing Active Park Assist
To pause parking assistance at any time,release the parking aid button.
If you open the passenger or rear doors,active park assist pauses.
To resume parking, press and hold theparking aid button again.
ENTERING A PARALLEL
PARKING SPACE
1.Press the parking aid button.
Note:The system detects other vehiclesand curbs to find a parking space.
2.Press the active park assist icon on thetouchscreen.
