Convenience Features
Armrest Storage Box

Use to store small items.
To open:
Press the button that is located inside of
the door handle.
CAUTION
Always press the button to open the

storage box may cause damage.
Glove Box

The glove box can be locked and
unlocked with the mechanical key M.
To open:
Pull the lever N.
WARNING
ALWAYS close the glove box door after
use.
An open glove box door can cause
serious injury to the passenger in an
accident, even if the passenger is
wearing a seat belt.

Maintenance
Filter Inspection
The cabin air filter should be replaced
according to the Maintenance Schedule.
If the vehicle is operated in severely air-
polluted cities or on dusty rough roads
for a long period, it should be inspected
more frequently and replaced sooner.
Replace the cabin air filter by following
the procedure below and be careful to
avoid damaging other components.
Filter Replacement

1. Open the glove box and remove the
support rod M.

2. Remove the stoppers on both sides to
allow the glove box to hang freely on
the hinges.

3. Press and hold the lock M on the left
side of the cover.
4. Pull out N the cover
5. Replace the cabin air filter.
6. Reassemble in the reverse order of
disassembly.

Engine Compartment

1. Open the engine hood and remove
the cover of the air conditioning
assembly to locate the air filter.
2. Open the engine hood and remove
the cover of air conditioning unit.
3. Press and hold the lock M on the left
side of the cover.
4. Pull out N the cover
5. Replace the cabin air filter.
6. Reassemble in the reverse order of
disassembly.

retailer of Genesis Branded products.The
LED lamps cannot be replaced as a single
unit because it is an integrated unit. The
LED lamps has to be replaced with the
unit. A skilled technician should check or
repair the LED lamp, for it may damage
related parts of the vehicle.
