ECO Assist Scoring
Monitors the fuel efficiency of your driving style in real time and converts results
into leaves, which are displayed in a series of five “plant” icons on the MID.
Once you start your vehicle, make sure the MID shows the Ecological Drive
Display on the display to view your Eco Assist score in real time.
As you drive, you earn leaves if you
drive in a fuelefficient manner, or
lose them if you drive inefficiently.
When you turn the ignition
off, your drive cycle and
lifetime score are displayed
on the MID.

and the transmission
in neutral, the
engine turns off. When you take
your foot off the
brake pedal and fully
depress the clutch,
the engine turns
back on.
DECELERATESTOPRESTART
Note\f Auto Idle Stop only functions if you come to a stop while driving with the
transmission in the D or N position.
Shuts the engine off at a stop to maximize fu\0el efficiency. Idle stop occurrence and
duration varies depending on the selected drive mode, ambient conditions, and IMA
battery condition. See your Owner’s Manual for more information.
How It Works
IMA Gauge
Shows when the IMA motor is assisting the engine or charging the battery.
Note\f IMA assist may not operate in extreme temperatures, or if the battery is low on charge.

Select one of three different modes of driving styles.
Driving Modes
Normal Mode
• Achieves the best balance ofdriving performance and fuel
efficiency.
• This is the default mode at engine start.
• Ambient meter changes from blue to green.
Sport Mode
• Enhanced steering, handling, and performance response.
• Reduced fuel efficiency.
• Ambient meter turns red.
Econ Mode
• Fuel efficiency is prioritized over engine response and
climate control.
• Ambient meter changes from blue to green.
When a mode is
selected, a message
briefly appears on the
MID and the mode
indicator turns on.
P L U S S P O R T S Y S T E M
Helps the vehicle briefly accelerate by increasing power and electric motor assist
when you depress the gas pedal. Works in any driving mode.
13
How It Works
When the vehicle speed is over 20 mph and the IMA battery charge level shows at
least four segments, the Plus Sport System indicator appears. The system is now
ready for activation.
Activating the System
1. When the Plus Sport System indicator is on, press the S+ button.
2. S+ begins to blink. Depress the gas
pedal to activate the system. 3. S+
blinks, READY disappears, and the
ambient meter turns red when the
system is in operation.
4. To cancel the system during operation, release the gas pedal or
press the S+ button again.

Paddle Modes
P A D D L E S H I F T I N G
While in the D position, 7Speed Manual Shift Mode allows you to manually shift your
vehicle’s speeds up or down. Useful for engine braking or when driving in hilly terrain
or cornering. Available on vehicles with automatic transmission.
Pull ( ) to shift down. Pull (
\b) to shift up.
NORMAL or ECON Mode
• Pull (\b) or () to temporarily switch from
automatic to manual shift mode.
• The speed number is displayed on the shift indicator display.
• When the vehicle’s speed is constant, the mode returns to automatic.
SPORT Mode
• Pull (\b) or () to switch to manual shift mode.
• The M indicator and speed number aredisplayed on the shift indicator display.
• Pull (\b) or () to change transmission \0speeds.
• Pull and hold (\b) to cancel this mode.
L (Low) Mode
• Pull and hold (\b) and () at the \0same time until L is displayed on the shift indicator display.

How It Works
T I R E P R E S S U R E M O N I T O R I N G S Y S T E M ( T P M S )
Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.
When the tire pressure drops
significantly below recommended
levels, the low tire pressure
indicator comes on and CHECK
TIRE PRESSURE appears on the
MID.
If there is a problem with the
system, CHECK TPMS SYSTEM
appears on the MID. See a dealer.
What to Do
1. Visually inspect the tires for damage.
2. Use a tire air pressure gauge to check which tire(s) have low
pressure.
3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary, to the recommended pressures listed on
the label on the driver’s doorjamb.

Use of unleaded gasoline of 87 octane or h\0igher is recommended.
• Honda recommends TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline where available.
• Do NOT use gasoline containing more than 15% ethanol.
• Do NOT use gasoline containing methanol.
• Do NOT use gasoline containing MMT.
• See your Owner’s Manual for more information.
Some gasoline in North America contains MMT, a manganesebased fuel additive.
Prolonged and consistent use of gasoline containing M\0MT can deteriorate your
vehicle’s performance, fuel economy, and the emission control system. Always use
MMTfree gasoline if available. Failures caused by use of gasoline containing MMT
may not be covered under your new vehicle warranty.
TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline (recommended) never contains MMT and has
detergent additives to keep your engine clean. For further information on fuel and
lubricants for your car and information on gasoline that does not contain MMT,
contact your dealer or visit owners.honda.com.
