Open the glove box by pulling the
handle to the lef t. Close it with a f irm
push. Lock or unlock the glove box
with the master key.
The glove box light comes on when
the parking lights are on.
The console compartment is
equipped with a detachable tray.
To remove this tray, slide it f orward,

Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle. In this position, the sun visor can be
adjusted by moving it on its slider.
Do not use the extended sun visor
over the inside mirror. To use the sun visor, pull it down.
Whenusingthesunvisorforthe
side window, remove the support rod
f rom the clip, and swing it out.
Some larger styles of sunglasses
may not f it in the holder.
You may also store small items in
this holder. Make sure they are
small enough to let the holder close
and latch, and that they are not
heavy enough to cause the holder to
pop open while driving.
To open the sunglasses holder, push
then release the indent. It will
unlatch and swing down. To close it,
push it until it latches. Make sure the

by lif ting it up with the handle.
The reverse side of the removable
tray is water-proof ed. You can f lip
the removable tray to use the water-

22.1 lbs on U.S. models, and 10 kg on
Canadian models.
To prevent damage to the utility box, do

The reverse side of the lids are
water-proof ed. To use the water-
proof ed side, replace the right lid

In addition, the utility box can be
removed to be washed. To remove
the utility box, lif t it up with the
handle.
Do not set the removable tray with
the handle raised. The handle might

The ceiling light has a three-position
switch: ON, Door Activated, and
OFF. In the Door Activated (center)
position, the light comes on when
you:After all doors are closed tightly, the
light dims slightly, then f ades out in
about 30 seconds.
The ceiling light (with the switch in
the center position) comes on when
you remove the key f rom the ignition
switch. If you do not open a door, the
light stays on, then f ades out in
about 30 seconds.
Turn on a spotlight by pushing the
lens. Push the lens again to turn it
of f . You can use the spotlights at all
times.
If you leave any door open without
the key in the ignition switch, the
ceiling light will go of f af ter about 15
minutes.
Unlock the driver’s door with the
keyorremotetransmitter. Open any door.

The courtesy light in each f ront door
comes on when the door is opened,
and goes out when the door is closed.
Your vehicle also has a courtesy light
in the ignition switch. This light
comesonwhenyouopenthedriver’s
door. It f ades out in about 30
seconds af ter the door is closed.
The spotlights have a two-position
switch. In the DOOR position, the
lights come on when you open any
door. The lights f ade out about 30
seconds af ter the doors are closed
tightly. In the OFF position, the
lights do not come on.
The spotlights (with the switch in
the DOOR position) also come on
when you unlock the door with the
key or the remote transmitter, and
when you remove the key f rom the
ignition switch.
Your vehicle has a cargo area light
on each side panel in the cargo area.
Each cargo area light has a two
position switch. In the OFF position,
the light does not come on. In the
ON position, the light comes on

The courtesy light between the
spotlights comes on when you turn
the parking lights on. To adjust its
brightness, turn the select/reset
knob on the instrument panel, with
