The area between the seats has two
compartments. Open the lower
compartment by squeezing the
handle. Close it with a f irm push.
You can lock or unlock the lower
compartment with the master key.The lever to open the upper
compartment is inside the lower
compartment. Push up the lever and
lif t the lid. To close, lower the lid and
push it down until it latches.

To change the angle of the seat-back,
pull up on the lever on the outside of
the seat bottom. Move the seat-back
to the desired position and release
the lever. Let the seat-back latch into
the new position.
Make all seat adjustments bef ore
you start driving.
To adjust the seat forward and
backward, pull up on the lever under
the seat cushion’s f ront edge. Move
the seat to the desired position and
releasethelever.Trytomovethe
seat to make sure it is locked in
position.

Your car’s windows are electrically-
powered. Turn the ignition switch to
ON (II) to raise or lower either
window.Each door has a switch that controls
its window. To open the window,
push the switch down and hold it.
Release the switch when you want
the window to stop. Close the
window by pulling back on the
switch and holding it.The driver’s armrest has a master
power window control panel. To
open the passenger’s window, push
down on the switch and hold it down
until the window reaches the desired
position. To close the window, pull
back on the window switch. Release
the switch when the window gets to
the position you want.

µThe MAIN switch controls power to
the passenger’s window. With this
switch of f , the passenger’s window
cannot be raised or lowered. The
MAIN switch does not af f ect the
driver’s window. Keep the MAIN
switch of f when you have a child in
the car so the child does not get
injured by operating the window
unintentionally.
The master control panel also con-
tains these extra features:
To open the driver’s
window f ully, push the window
switch f irmly down and release it.
The window automatically goes all
the way down. To stop the window
f rom going all the way down, pull
back on the window switch brief ly.
To open the driver’s window only
partially, push the window switch
down lightly and hold it. The window
will stop as soon as you release the
switch.
The AUTO f unction only works to
lower the driver’s window. To raise
the window, you must pull back on
the window switch and hold it until
the window reaches the desired

Make sure your passenger is
away from the window before
closing it.

The convertible top on your Honda
lowers and raises electrically.
Bef ore operating the convertible top,
make sure the car is parked on level
ground, and that there is enough
clearance above the top.Park your car in the shade whenever
possible. Extended exposure to
sunlight can cause the convertible
top to deteriorate. Thereisalatchoneachside.Push
in the tab and pull the locking
lever down.
It is advisable to raise the top
whenever you park the car. This
helps to protect the car from
unexpected weather changes, and
f rom thef t of your valuables.
Apply the parking brake. The
convertible top will not operate
unless the parking brake is f ully
engaged.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Do not operate the convertible top in
f reezing weather. Y ou can damage
the material and mechanism of the
convertible top.
Never drive the car with the
convertible top half open. Do not lower or raise the top while
the engine is running.
Do not operate the top if it is wet,
dirty, or covered with ice or snow. Do not operate the convertible top if
the car is raised on the jack, a hoist,
or on jack stands.

The windows will lower and the roof
will f old back. Release the ROOF
switch when the roof is retracted
completely into the rear shelf .
Make sure the rear def ogger is of f
bef ore you lower the convertible top.

Operating the convertible top
while any part of a passenger is
in the way of the convertible top
can cause serious injury.
Make sure that you, your
passenger or any other people
around the car are clear of the
way of the moving convertible
top.
Do not sit on the f olded convertible top,
or put heavy items on top of it.
You could damage the top or the rear
window def ogger wires.

The convertible top will raise.
Release the ROOF switch when the
top reaches the windshield header.Pull back on the locking lever and
push it up until it latches. Make
sure it is securely latched. While pushing the convertible top
f orward, push the locking lever
f orward and set the latch into the
windshield header. Push in the tab on each locking
lever and pull the locking lever
down.

Use the convertible top cover when
the top is f olded to help prevent
f oreign objects, dirt, etc. f rom
getting into the material and
mechanism.Remove the convertible top cover
f rom the trunk.
Connect the snaps on the top
covertothetwopinsontheback
of the interior panel. Pull out the
head of each snap, put the snap
over the pin, then release the head.Connect the snap on the f astener
string to the pin on each side wall
of the passenger compartment.
