Align steering wheel (if equipped)
This warning message is displayed if
you start the engine when the steer
ing wheel is turned 90 degrees to the
left or right.
In order to align the steering wheel,
turn the wheel in the direction shown
while the engine is running to
straighten the steering wheel.
Steering wheel aligning is com
pleted (if equipped)
If the steering wheel aligning is com
pleted after "Align steering wheel"
warning message is displayed, this
message is displayed for 2 seconds.
Low tire pressure (if equipped)
Low tire pressure telltale will appear
when one or more of your tires areunderinflated.
For more details, refer to "TPMS" in
section 6.

Information
If the TPMS indicator does not illumi
nate for 3 seconds when the ignition
switch is turned to the ON position or
engine is running, or if it comes on
after blinking for approximately one
minute, we recommend that you con
tact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.Low tire pressure tell
tale
When the tire pressure monitoring
system warning indicator is illuminat
ed, one or more of your tires is sig
nificantly underinflated.
If the telltale illuminates, immediately
reduce your speed, avoid hard cor
nering and anticipate increased stop
ping distances. You should stop and
check your tires as soon as possible.
Inflate the tires to the proper pres
sure as indicated on the vehicle’s
placard or tire inflation pressure label
located on the driver’s side center pil
lar outer panel. If you cannot reach a
service station or if the tire cannot
hold the newly added air, replace the
low pressure tire with the spare tire.
Then the Low Tire Pressure telltale
may flash for approximately one minute and then remain continuously
illuminated after restarting and about
20 minutes of continuous drivingbefore you have the low pressure tire
repaired and replaced on the vehicle.

In winter or cold weather, the low
tire pressure telltale may be illumi
nated if the tire pressure was
adjusted to the recommended tire
inflation pressure in warm weath
er. It does not mean your TPMS is
malfunctioning because the
decreased temperature leads to a
proportional lowering of tire pres
sure.
When you drive your vehicle from
a warm area to a cold area or from
a cold area to a warm area, or the
outside temperature is greatly
higher or lower, you should check
the tire inflation pressure and
adjust the tires to the recommend
ed tire inflation pressure.

Diesel Engine
Never work on injection system
with engine running or within 30
seconds after shutting off engine.
Highpressure pump, rail, injectors
and highpressure pipes are sub
ject to high pressure even after
the engine stopped. The fuel jet
produced by fuel leaks may cause
serious injury, if it touches the
body. People using pacemakers
should not move more than 30cm
closer to the ECU or wiring har
ness within the engine room while
engine is running, since the high
currents in the electronic engine
control system produce consider
able magnetic fields.

•When you remove the interior trim
cover with a flat head () driver, be
careful not to damage the cover.
•Be careful when you replace and
clean bulbs to avoid burns or elec
trical shock.
