••Bluetooth
®
is a feature that
enables drivers to make handsfree
calls. Connecting the head unit
with a Bluetooth
®phone allows the
user to conveniently make calls,
receive calls, and manage the
phonebook. Before using
B luetooth
®, carefully read the con-
tents of this user’s manual.
• Excessive use or operations while driving may le ad to negligent driv-
ing practices and be the cause of
accidents. Do not operate the
device excessively while driving.
• Viewing the screen for prolonged periods of time is dangerous and
may lead to accident s. When driv-
ing, view the screen only for short
periods of time.
• Pairing Bluetooth
®
devices and
use of other Bluetooth
®
features
are not supported when the vehicle
is in motion. For safety, please first
park your vehicle. • Be
fore connecting the head unit
with the Bluetooth
®
device, check
to see that the mobile device sup-
ports Bluetooth
®
features.
• Even if the mobile device supports Bluetooth
®, the device will not be
found during device searches if the
device has been set to hidden
state or the Bluetooth
®
power is
turned off. Disable the hidden state
or turn on the Bluetooth®
power
prior to searching/connecting with
the head unit.
• If a Bluetooth
®
device becomes
disconnected due to being out of
communication range, turning the
device OFF, or a Blueto oth
®
com-
munication error, corresponding
Bluetooth
®
devices are automati-
cally searched and reconnected.
• If you do not want automatic con- nection with your Bluetooth
®
device, turn the Bluetooth
®
feature
off in the Bluetooth
®
device.

Follow these steps to try again.
1. Turn the Bluetooth

3. Completely remove the Bluetooth

device battery,
reboot, and then again.
4. Reboot the Multimedia System and try again.
5. Delete all paired devices from
both of Bluetooth

device and
Head Unit sides and then try
again.

• Before connecting the audio sys- tem to your device, make sure your
device supports Bluetooth
®. • Even if your device supports
Bluetooth
®, a Bluetooth
®
connec-
tion cannot be established if the
device’s Bluetooth
®
function is
switched off. Search and connect
with the Bluetooth®
function
enabled.
• Pairing Bluetooth
®
devices and
use of other Bluetooth
®
features
are not supported when the vehicle
is in motion. For safety, please first
park your vehicle.
• If a Bluetooth
®
connection is lost
due to abnormal conditions while a
Bluetooth
®
device is connected
(communication range exceeded,
device power OFF, communication
errors, etc.), the disconnected
Bluetooth
®
device is searched for
and automatically reconnected.
• If you want to disable the Bluetooth®
device auto-connect
function, turn the Bluetooth
®
func-
tion OFF on your device. Consult
the user manuals for individual
devices to see whether Bluetooth
®
is supported.
• Handsfree call quality and volume may vary depending on the type of
Bluetooth
®
device. • Some Bluetooth
®
devices are sub-
ject to intermittent Bluetooth
®
con-
nection failures. In this case, use
the following method.
1) Turn the Bluetooth
®
function off
on your Bluetooth®
device ➟
Turn it on and try again.
2) Delete the paired device from both the audio system and
Bluetooth
®
device, then pair
again.
3) Power down your Bluetooth
®
device ➟Turn it on and try
again.
4) Completely remove the battery from your Bluetooth
®
device;
reinsert it, reboot, and attempt
connection.
5) Restart the vehicle and reat- tempt connection.

Starting the engine Starting the petrol engine
Vehicle with Manual Transaxle :
1. Make sure the parking brake isapplied.
2. Make sure the shift lever is in neu tral.
3. Depress the clutch and brake ped als.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the START position. Hold the key
(maximum of 1\f seconds) until the
engine starts and release it.
Vehicle with Automatic Transaxle/ Continuously Variable Transaxle :
1. Make sure the parking brake is applied.
2. Make sure the shift lever is in P (Park) or N (Neutral).
3. Depress the brake pedal.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the START position. Hold the key
(maximum of 1\f seconds) until the
engine starts and release it. Information
• Do not wait for the engine to warmup while the vehicle remains station
ary\b
Start driving at moderate engine
speeds\b (Steep accelerating and
decelerating should be avoided\b)

Starting the engine Information
• The engine will start by pressing theEngine Start/Stop button, only when
the smart key is in the vehicle\b
• Even if the smart key is in the vehi cle, if it is far away from the driver,
the engine may not start\b
• When the Engine Start/Stop button is in the ACC or ON position, if any
door is open, the system checks for
the smart key\b If the smart key is notin the vehicle, the " " indicator
will blink and the warning "Key not
in vehicle" will come on, and if all
doors are closed, the chime will also
sound for about 5 seconds\b The indi
cator will turn off while the vehicle
is moving\b Keep the smart key in the
vehicle when using the ACC position
or if the vehicle engine is ON\b

including the parking brake pedal
and cables. Brake discs, pads, calipers and
rotorsCheck the pads for excessive wear,
discs for run out and wear, and
calipers for fluid leakage.Suspension mounting boltsCheck the suspension connections
for looseness or damage. Retighten
to the specified torque.
Steering gear box, linkage &
boots/lower arm ball joint
With the vehicle stopped and engine
off, check for excessive free-play in
the steering wheel.
Check the linkage for bends or dam-
age. Check the dust boots and ball
joints for deterioration, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged
parts.
Drive shafts and bootsCheck the drive shafts, boots and
clamps for cracks, deterioration, or
damage. Replace any damaged
parts and, if necessary, repack the
grease.Air conditioning refrigerant
(if equipped)Check the air conditioning lines and
connections for leakage and dam-
age.

$  "$# $Exterior careExterior general caution It is very important to follow the label
directions when using any chemical
cleaner or polish. Read all warning
and caution statements that appear
on the label. High-pressure washing• When using high-pressure washers,
make sure to maintain sufficient dis-
tance from the vehicle.
Insufficient clearance or excessive
pressure can lead to component
damage or water penetration.
• Do not spray the camera, sensors or its surrounding area directly with a
high pressure washer. Shock appliedfrom high pressure water may cause
the device to not operate normally.• Do not bring the nozzle tip close to boots (rubber or plastic covers) or
connectors as they may be damaged
if they come into contact with high
pressure water.
Finish maintenanceWashing To help protect your vehicle’s finish
from rust and deterioration, wash it
thoroughly and frequently at least
once a month with lukewarm or cold
water.
If you use your vehicle for off-road
driving, you should wash it after each
off-road trip. Pay special attention to
the removal of any accumulation of
salt, dirt, mud, and other foreign
materials. Make sure the drain holes
in the lower edges of the doors and
rocker panels are kept clear and
clean.
Insects, tar, tree sap, bird droppings,
industrial pollution and similar
deposits can damage your vehicle’s
finish if not removed immediately.
Even prompt washing with plain
water may not completely remove all
these deposits. A mild soap, safe for
use on painted surfaces, may be
used.
After washing, rinse the vehicle thor-
oughly with lukewarm or cold water.
Do not allow soap to dry on the fin-
ish.
• Do not use strong soap, chemicaldetergents or hot water, and do not
wash the vehicle in direct sunlig ht
or when the body of the vehicle is
warm.
• Be careful when washing the side windows of your vehicle.
Especially, with high-pressure
water, water may leak through the
windows and wet the interior.
• To prevent dam age to the plastic
parts and lamps, do not clean with
chemical solvents or strong deter- gents. NOTICEWet brakes
After washing the vehicle, test the
brakes while driving slowly to see
if they have been affected by
water. If braking performance is
impaired, dry the brakes by apply-
ing them lightly while maint aining
a slow forward speed.
