„„Passenger’s front air bagPassenger’s front air bag
WARNING
• Do not install or place any
accessories (drink holder, cassette
holder, sticker, etc.) on the front
passenger’s panel above the glove
box in a vehicle with a passenger’s
air bag. Such objects may become
dangerous projectiles and cause
injury if the passenger’s air bag
inflates.
• When installing a container of liquid
air freshener inside the vehicle, do
not place it near the instrument
cluster nor on the instrument panel
surface.
It may become a dangerous projectile
and cause injury if the passenger’s air
bag inflates.
WARNING
• If an air bag deploys, there may
be a loud noise followed by a fine
dust released in the vehicle. These
conditions are normal and are
not hazardous - the air bags are
packed in this fine powder. The dust
generated during air bag deployment
may cause skin or eye irritation as
well as aggravate asthma for some
persons. Always wash all exposed
skin areas thoroughly with cold water
and a mild soap after an accident in
which the air bags were deployed.
• The SRS can function only when the
ignition switch is in the ON position.
• Before you replace a fuse or
disconnect a battery terminal, turn
the ignition switch to the LOCK
position and remove the ignition
key. Never remove or replace the air
bag related fuse(s) when the ignition
switch is in the ON position. Failure to
heed this warning will cause the SRS
air bag warning light to illuminate.

This indicator displays which wiper
speed is selected using the wiper
control.
Turn on FUSE SWITCH
This warning message is displayed if
the fuse switch located on the fuse box
under the steering wheel is OFF.
You should turn the fuse switch on.
For more details, refer to “Fuses”
Section in chapter 9.
Low pressure (if equipped)

This warning message is displayed if the
tire pressure is low. The corresponding
tire on the vehicle will be illuminated.
For more details, refer to “Tire Pressure
Monitoring System (TPMS)” section in
chapter 8.
Heated Steering Wheel turned off
(if equipped)
This message illuminates if the heated
steering wheel will turn off automatically
approximately 30 minutes after the
heated steering wheel is turned on.
For more details, refer to “Heated
Steering Wheel” in chapter 5.
Low fuel
This warning message is displayed if the
fuel tank is almost out of fuel.
When this message is displayed, the low
fuel level warning light in the cluster will
come on.
It is recommended to look for the
nearest fueling station and refuel as
soon as possible.
