6Select a screen button to select the
desired detour distance.“1 mile (km)”, “3 miles (km)” or “5
miles (km)”: Select one of these screen
buttons to start the detour process. After
detouring, the system returns to the orig-
inal guidance route.
“Whole route”: Select to make the sys-
tem calculate an entire new route to the
destination.
“Around traffic event”: Select to make
the system search for the route based on
the traffic congestion information re-
ceived.
DETOUR SETTING
While the route guidance is operat-
ing, the route can be changed to de-
tour around a section of the route
where a delay is caused by road re-
pairs, an accident, etc.
INFORMATION
This picture shows an example of
how the system would guide around a
delay caused by a traffic jam.
This position indicates the location
of a traffic jam caused by road re-
pairs, an accident, etc.
This route indicates the detour sug-
gested by the system.
When the vehicle is on a motorway,
the detour distance selections are 5,
15 and 25 km (or 5, 15 and 25 miles if
units are in miles).
The system may not be able to calcu-
late a detour route depending on the
selected distance and surrounding
road conditions.

1To display a memory point name, se-
lect “Show name”. The indicator
will illuminate. To hide memory
point names, select “Show name”
again. The indicator will turn off.

TYRE CHANGE CALIBRATION
1To perform distance calibration pro-
cedure, select “Tyre change”.
The message appears and the quick dis-
tance calibration is automatically
started. A few seconds later, a map will
be displayed.
The tyre change calibration function
will be used when replacing the
tyres. This function will adjust mis-
calculation caused by the circumfer-
ence difference between the old and
new tyres.
INFORMATION
If this procedure is not performed
when the tyres are replaced, the cur-
rent position mark may be incorrectly
displayed.

Power/Volume knob: Press to turn the
audio/video system on and off. Turn this
knob to adjust the volume. The system
turns on in the last mode used.
“RADIO”, “MEDIA” button: Press to
display screen buttons for the audio/vid-
eo system. Using the instrument panel
1Every time the “RADIO” or “ME-
DIA” button is pressed, the audio
control mode changes.
The audio control mode changes in the
following order:
“RADIO” button: To display the
“AM”, “FM” and “DAB” tabs on the
screen. (Radio mode)
“MEDIA” button: To display the
“DISC”, “BT audio”, “AUX”, “USB”
and “iPod” tabs on the screen. (Media
mode)
Using the Remote Touch
1Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch.
TURNING THE SYSTEM ON
AND OFF
A function that enables automatic
return to the previous screen from the
audio/video screen can be selected.
